Berkley Soft Bait Binder

I bought the 11x7 inch version, thinking it would be big enough. The description says the 7 bags can fit up to 21 soft bait bags, which is total BS. They can just barely fit 14, (2 in each bag), and that is not even full ones. Cheap construction, the clear zippered spots in the picture are so small you can't fit anything that isn't nearly flat. Another thing worth saying is that the bags are the exact size where berkley soft plastics fit perfectly, but yum baits and zoom baits are too big, but you can still get them to fit if you fold in the edges. I'm not happy with it, I'm going to try a different soft bait binder.On the bright side: Customer service was great and I received a full refund for the purchase without any hassle.

I bought the 11" x 7" and was expecting more space. The picture shows being able to put three packages of bait in each sheet but you would be hard pressed to fit 2 full packages per sheet. The picture is definatly not an accurate presentation of what you will receive. The binder is well made and durable but not as much storage as I was lead to believe.

I have only had it a short while and have been putting my different soft baits in it. Two of the bags have split at the plastic welded seam by the rings. There is no way to replace the bags without drilling out a rivet.

The Zip lock bag Zip close side is on the wrong side. Figure it like this. The binder holes are on the bottom of the bags, the zip lock part is on the top... And the Zip isnt all that positive. Especially with older fingers. You cant really tell if it is locked or not.So guess what happens when you pic the bag up by the handle ? well all the open bags are now facing down and everything falls out of the bags.I have another brand where the opening on the bags are towards the spine, so even if they are open, ( and I actually leave em open alot. Picking up the binder everything stays inside.

The binder itself is fine. The bags are really thin and flimsy however. Other brands I own have much thicker bags which aids in ease of access and resealing in addition to obvious durability.

I don't put plastic baits in it. I ordered the 11x7 for catfishing tackle and is has room for all different sizes of packages hooks, swivels, bobber stops, etc. I can fill it with everything I need for a days fishing and and still have room left over. I really like that I don't have to dig through a tackle box just to find a particular hook, just flip through the pages and get it. Also takes up much less room than a tackle box. Keeps everything neat and orderly. Heavy sinkers may be too much for the bags. I do have a few minor issues with the bag..First, the bags seem a little fragile and can be hard to close, and sometimes the zipper will "hang" and have to work it a little to get it going again. All in all I'm satisfied with the binder.
