UPDATE 3/31/2017All these years now and still use this product. Most all the others fell by the wayside, trying something new and different. Noticed people about my age and much younger, who don't use this have much more of the "shrunken lip syndrome" we get as we age, than I do. I believe it is because of this product. Remember to rub it into your skin, all around the outside of your lips as well as into the 'down lines', at the corner of your lips. Give it some time to work, over weeks, months. Remember to do the 'before' photo. If I run out for awhile I can always see a difference in the fullness of my lips, right away, beginning it again. You may also need a moisturizer over it depending on the humidity of where you live. Blessings.UPDATE: 4/24/15I just received another Lip Un-wrinkle from this Seller today. I have found them to be honest and reputable. My item came in it’s original box. The container itself, is not sealed, but has a cap on the top. That is exactly how I have received it, when I purchased it at Sephora.I read some of the reviews, since I originally posted this one and found the need to clarify a couple of things. It seems some are concerned the packaging gives the false impression, that there is more in the container, than there really is. In the cosmetics industry, seems everything is sold by weight, at least that is what I look for, when purchasing. This is what they call the “travel size”. It does state clearly on Amazon the item site, it has .34 ounces of product which is a bit over 1/3 ounce.The container is small, as it is. A container made just large enough to hold the ⅓ oz would be too small. I personally, would not like it smaller and like it the size it is, as it fits the hand well and gives more control when pushing that pump button only partially, down, to dispense product, which I do, to extend the use of the product. I do know, this kind of pump mechanism does require a little extra room also, for it to work as it does. Anyway, always go by the weight of the product, not the size of the container. It is roughly .34 or ⅓ oz, in weight.The one other thing is, It took me several months to see the full results of this product. I could see a difference right away, in my lip size and texture, and I quit getting the horrible dry and cracks flakes. The major change in lines, etc., takes a while to show and keeps working, as long as you are using it. combating wrinkles. It took a while to get those wrinkles and it takes awhile to see some permanent change.Since our skin is constantly aging, If you quit using it, those wrinkles will come back again, as before. If I have a break in using it, what I notice, quickly, is my lips shrink again and have lots more lines in them as well as flakes and cracks. The lines around the lips, do not immediately come back, when you quit using it though, like at the corners of the mouth, but will worsen again, in time with the aging process. I have noticed a big difference in the marionette lines at the corners of the mouth, with long term use of this product. Other than facial fillers, which work great but are expensive, this is the next best thing, for me. Remember, when you use this to apply it all around the outside of your lips too and get the corner, marionette lines well. I also use a lip conditioner over it. Right now I am using PTR, Pink Bombshell, because it was on sale on Amazon for $10, but any good moisturizing chapstick or lip conditioner will also work. I live in a dry climate, so an additional moisturizer, on top of this product, is essential for me, may not be for you.If you doubt this will work for you, you can always take close up photographs (selfies) before and additional photos over a period of time, of use, with same expression, no make-up. The proof is in the picture!Oh, I only feel a slight tingle when I first apply it, which feels good, to me! They were very helpful, to me.I can still say, if I could only have two facial anti aging products, this is one of them! Hope this information is somewhat helpful for you. Everyone is different, of course, but because these ingredients are tested and proven, everyone should get some degree of improvement with regular, continued use.ORIGINAL POST:Seriously, this stuff works! The main thing for me, when buying this type of product is to read the ingredients and ask if they are scientifically proven. That is the true test. Yes, ingredients in this product are. That is the only way I will buy products to use, on me. Then I know they have to work, at least to some degree. I ordered the PTR to help my chapped lips and plump them up some and possible long term results. I thought it was more for anti-againg than chapped lips. I am in the 50+ group and my lips have shrunken some. I used it faithfully, almost every night. I examined my lips under magnification before and afterwards. This is what it did for me; Lessened the marionette lines at the corner of my mouth, noticeably. I had very few tiny lines at the top of my lip, but it lessened those as well, and smoothed them out. What I noticed the most was how it plumped my lips up and got rid of he chapped, peeling pieces of skin which I have had for so long. I did use a type of balm for chapped lips on top. I live in a very dry climate and it is murder on lips. The big thing I noticed was, if I forgot to use it a night or two and developed the cracked lips that are painful, I would use it and after one night the open cracks were healed in the morning. It didn't hurt when I put it on the cracked lips eiither and seemed to have a numbing affect for the pain. This was a huge deal to me. Nothing else has done that.I ran out of PTR and decided to use up other products I have. I noticed my lips gradually became thinner and very cracked again. I bought several drug store lip treatments to try, including my favourite, Nuxe lip cream. I love that and will use it along with PTR. I also recently purchased the outrageously expensive ($42) Hourglass #28 lip oil. Swore I wouldn't pay that much, but I just had to try it before ordering the PTR again , in case, it did the same things and more! So far, it doesn't. Haven't been using it long enough to tell what long term results are, but has not healed my chapped lips and I am applying it constantly. It is quite elegant and the applicator is a 10+. It is coated with 24kt gold. Just makes it feel cool to the lips but does lessen the pain of cracked lips like PTR did for me. If I see nothing different, as far as anti-aging results, when finished with it, I will not purchase it again.Rarely, do I purchase the same cosmetic item twice, but I know for sure, I will never be without this marvellous product again! It has proven itself to me. I have just ordered it from this seller catamount great deal less than retail and that makes me very happy! My lips are' crying' for it! I know how my lips can look with this and what they look like now, without it. Can't wait to get it!The negative? Only one. I wish the dispenser, would dispense a smaller amount. I found the Hourglass lip oil dispenser dispenses the ideal amount, with one pump. A full pump with the PTR is too much and wasteful. I have learned to "fix" this, by only pressing the pump down part of the way.

I ordered this product after reading the fantasic reviews. I recieved the treatment, starting using it, saw some positive results, and truly started thinking this was a great product. After about three weeks, I couldn't get anymore of the product to come out. Looking at the size of the bottle, I knew it couldn't be out already. The pump was not screw off so I pried it off with a pair of pliars thinking I could just use a q-tip to get it out if necessary. How shocked and surprised was I to find that the actual amount in the bottle was located in a small plastic piece inside the bottle that was about 1/4 of the size of the total bottle!!! So it was almost gone. I was able to get about another weeks worth out of the little area with my finger. The sad this is I REALLY like this product. I spend a lot of money on cosmetics that I like and even though I feel this one does what it says it will, I'm not sure I will purchase it again because of the extreme exaggeration of the container that holds almost no product! Very false advertising. Yes, it say .34 ounce but then don't put it in a huge container as many woment are very visual, as I am, and make us think we are getting so much more for our money. Shame on you Peter Thomas Roth!!!!!

Over the years, I've tried many "smoothing" lip products and have not really been satisfied with any. I decided to try this one because I've had good luck with other PTR products in the past. While I really like the product, the dispenser leaves something to be desired. The first time I used it, I depressed the pump fully...and was rewarded with practically enough product to cover the lower half of my face! When you press it, just be very gentle because you only need a pinky tip-sized dab to cover your entire mouth. It tingles for a few minutes after application, but it's nothing too severe. It makes a great base for lipstick and even my most drying matte lipsticks glide on like balm. The fine lines around my lips have gotten much smoother after about 8 weeks of everyday use, but I'm only in my mid-40s, so I can't speak to how it works on deeper lines and wrinkles. All in all, I will purchase again.

So I was looking for Peter Thomas Roth UnWrinkle Lip BALM, and have had a number of those pink tubes with the slanted tip at the applicator end. I just applied it after i got out of the shower and by the time I was ready for my lipstick, my lips had plumped up nicely and was ready to receive color on nicely moisturized, smoothed lips. Well I didn't see it and thought since it had all of the names except the word BALM on the title to give it a try. This line of products are decent.I actually see no difference on my long ago smokers upper lip or does it do the nice plumping and smoothing job the pink tube did. I'll try the little pot of pink stuff to see if its the same old product just in a new container. By the way, my pink tube balm would last for months and months. You need only the smallest amount. Hate it when companies change things that actually work!

I think this product works well for a few hours - all the little wrinkles, etc. seemed to get less noticeable (I'm 40 so mine are not too deep yet). But by the afternoon, my lips seemed more wrinkled and dryed out than usual. It did burn as expected - but it wasn't painful. I may use this before going out to dinner or for a special occasion, but I don't think I'd use it daily and I doubt I'll reorder. It's not supposed to fix the wrinkles - just temporarily plump them to hide them...so daily use to correct them long term isn't the answer. You get what you get...

Stings!!! Not at all what I expected. Stung so much I had to wash it off!!! Persevered and tried it a few more times with the same result - won't be trying it again!!!
