Chemistry: The Central Science (13th Edition)

Some of the solutions explained here use totally different numbers, questions, compounds..... etc. they don't match. I'm not sure if the authors do this on purpose to make you "think harder" but how am I supposed to understand these things if THE SOLUTIONS I PAID $80 FOR ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE QUESTION??? The solutions are helpful when they are the right ones. If I can't understand a problem and need to work through it, the solutions having completely different numbers (As in for quantities, like weights or moles given for a question) or different chemicals DOESNT HELP ME! Slows me down! It's still better to have this manual than not to have it, but it could me much better.

SO worth it! My only regret was not buying this book earlier in the semester. My chem I professor was out to fail half the class I swear and half the class did fail because she taught over everyone's head. The thing that saved my grade was this book and the study guide book. It breaks down the answers step by step. If you don't get the concept and the professor sucks at teaching this will save your sanity!

The only reason I am giving this a five star rating is because the material in here is very solid. Clear concise definitions and answers. Roxy Wilson did a fantastic job with this solutions manual.The book is very simple and straightforward. Do the problems in the book, check in the solutions manual. If you got something wrong, you can see where you derailed. Concepts, formulas, and other important relations are reiterated constantly. Reinforce your studies with this amazing solutions manual. I have 1 day with it and it has proven to be one of the most helpful tools for gen chem.I have one complaint though. The book, which was advertised as being in "Good" condition had about 100 pages that were literally ripped off the book. After checking 40 problems I did today which were not in the back of my textbook, I spent my whole evening gluing pages back. Nowhere in the "good" condition did you advertise that pages can be missing or torn. Please do not purchase this book from "a_teambooks" and please label your conditions ACCORDINGLY.

I'm taking a rigorous online gen chem course so I went ahead and got this solutions manual. Step-by-step answers including logic and planning for all exercises. This is a great supplement to the text of you're serious about really understanding the concepts. The book is in the described condition and the shipping was fast. Got a B on my first exam thanks to not getting stuck while practicing. Chem isn't my strongest subject but with the help of this manual I believe bill improve greatly!

This book is printed on lightweight paper, almost like a cheap coloring book, so despite being quite thick it is not super heavy to lug around.Having a bit of guidance (or just copying the answers when you’re a bit desperate) definitely helps. I ended the semester with an A and being able to work and check all the problems in the book was a big part of why.

Honestly, I did not use the solutions very much. I rented the physical book and solutions instead of getting the e-text version for work on Mastering Physics website. The book and solutions were not the greatest help with work on the website. It was ok. I would recommend finding other resources online.

Buy it and keep it and pass it on. This book is the reason why I passed chemistry class.

Excellent! I have purchased solutions manuals for many textbooks but most give only odd or only selected problems which is little help when you are trying to figure out a particular problem. This manual is by far the best so far of all different classes I have taken. Extremely helpful.
