This gorilla tape is really sticky and works great. It was a little hard to get both sides of the cover off, but once I figured it out, it was easy to use. Seems to hold well and works for the purpose. I needed it to.

Great for securing decorative string lights to back of tv and for securing solar lights to out side railing.

I bought this to use for my car mount. At first I put it too close to the heater vent so I took it off. The sticky was no longer sticky and useless. I figured I'd find something better then. I used a little square for my car mount, I was even able to test and see if I could take it off and rearrange it again. I WAS!So I ventured away from the car mount! I thought it's so hard to get my rear dashcam to stay up in the back of my SUV. I stuck a small amount on the back of it and my darn it hasnt fallen since! It's also at the perfect angle!I will attach photos later but wanted to review for the ones that use their car for a living and need things to stick and not mess up in the middle of a drive/ride!Update 6/19/19:My rear cam dashcam was using this. I had to change to something else. This does not withstand the sun beating down on it. There were multiple times I'd come out to my car for work and my rear view cam was fallen off. I know this was a question asked and I know I was looking for reviews saying if it would work for my rear camera. It will maybe if not exposed to sun for long periods of time or put in a garage at night but not for a person that has only street parking.Side note, I used Gorilla Super Glue with the precision tip and my rearview cam has stayed up!

The roll of tape that I received was deficient in several respects. Separating the tape from the backing was difficult, but doable. The adhesion did not prove sufficient for a product weighing less than two pounds. i will not reorder this product in the future.

It does stick to surfaces however it is very difficult to get the tape liner offIt is a struggle
