These are a great purchase for the price. I've installed a few dozen speakers in my day and the are just as simple as any others. The quality seems to be a good, I don't see any points that may fail in a premature fashion. After installation I played around with the equalizer to test these, I have to say the do sound a great deal better than stock, very crisp highs and the lows do hit pretty hard. I had my sub woofer go out and it took me two days to realize the sound wasn't hitting as low as normal, in other words they don't hit as hard as a sub woofer in the LOWER range but will fill in most of it. I listen to country, rap, hip hop, and a few others and sound means a lot to me, with these it seems like not one setting will work for all styles of music but you can get them to sound great. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a fairly cheap upgrade, or if you're deciding to amplify these and go for a midrange performance level, I feel these would be a great choice. Anyone looking to replace a blown speaker and want to get away cheaply, dont, I've tried. Bought pioneers and was basically disgusted, because I chose to try and save money. If you need to do a replacement or looking for an entry level upgrade with potential for great sound, I would strongly recomend these. Also, don't replace just one set of speakers as in the just the front or rear, do both, because the sound may feel unbalanced. This set of front and rear will save you over $40 if purchased seperatlely. Take it from someone who really enjoys how things sound and not snobby about brand, who looks for ways to get best bang for the buck, I feel no one will feel disappointed in these. Great sound at a great price

Sound great in comparison to my stock speakers (2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4 speaker system) with a Clarion DVD retractable deck and two 12" subs. Only problem is neither set (front or back) fit 100% correct. I had to rig them somewhat, but you can't see them and it doesn't take away from the sound. There's decent mid range and great highs which lacked in the stock speakers. Worth the couple bucks and minor installation issues. Mount depth isn't too bad either even though these are huge magnets compared to stock. They are somewhat low profile and clear windows.

Speakers are great the 6x9 produce good bass with clear sound and the 51/4 sound extremely clear and crisp the other reviewers who say they aren’t as good haven’t given them a chance to brake in these speakers are definitely worth the money.I installed these on a 98 ram 3500 quad cab the 6x9 is a direct fit but the 51/4 will need a adapter or rewiredTo do this take the 2 green wires and wire them to the larger terminal and the black to the smaller

I bought these to replace all of the speakers in my 2004 Dodge Ram, as one of the front speakers was blown. The front speakers are the 6x9’s, these are a direct swap, butyou will need to order the wiring adapters. Then it’s just plug and play. The front speakers sound great much better than the factory speakers. The rear speakers, the5 1/4’s are a different story.First of all you will need to drill new holes to mount them, factory screw holes do not line up, not a big deal. Problem is the 5 1/4’s sound like crap, I ended up removing them and reinstalling the factory ones, they sound better. Just purchase the 6x9’s. If you need rear speakers look elsewhere.

They were late would not deal with seller again was east to install sound good just didnt have bass i was looking for in replacment mids and highs great set if you just looking for clear loud mids and highs without good bass they may sound better if i add an amp will update if i do

Sounded good but one went bad after about six months.

Hooked it up you sound great I wouldn't trade it for the world until I upgrade
