Bally Slimmer Belt with Zippers

I have had this belt for a few days and LOVE it. I got it to wear while working out but I also wear it around the house while cleaning and relaxing. You really do sweat more when wearing this. It helps take the bloat out of your mid section. It is very soft and you can bend and move with it on. There are 3 different zipper settings and I use the middle one. It is pretty loose in my waist area but fits perfect lower on my belly and back. I expected this since I have a very narrow waist. I also own the everlast for her all in one body slimmer which I highly recommend but it is a bit more stiff. I put this bally slimmer belt over the everlast body slimmer when working out and man oh man do you sweat! I think to really see the effects of this belt you need to work out while wearing it but I don't think it hurts to wear it around when you are not.

This belt works perfectly - makes you sweat a lot in the waist area - for those who have waist. What I mean is if you look at the picture the shape of the belt is such that it will help to melt excessive fat for "8"-shaped women, but it might not work for "O"-shaped.As for support, it supports well as long as it's not to much to support (the material is rather thin).Zippers worked well for me (I use the tightest one and my size is 4).For proper use don't wear it on the bare skin, it's no good for both skin and the belt, it works perfectly fine above the tee (you can wear two tees, this "sandwich" will make you sweat even more).And for god's sake - don't wash neoprene in washing machine, it won't survive it! Wipe it with wet cloth after exercise instead, and it will last.

I bought this because it says that it will fit any size waist. I got the product and was impressed by the zipper design. It does attempt to fit multiple waist sizes but, at least for me, it was a very tight fit. I really had to work at it. If the zipper is not perfectly aligned then it is very tough to zip up. I would say that if you are in a nice slim waist size then you should have no problem at all. But, if you need to lose a few pounds then you might struggle getting this around you. Once it is on it works great. It's just tough to get on.

I bought one of these exact slimmer belts about three years ago and really enjoyed it. i got a couple of years of use out of it and it was great. then, like all slimmer belts, it wore down and started to fray and whatnot. i ordered another one from amazon only to find out when i got it that the manufacturer has clearly downgraded their production of this item since last i bought one. it is now almost half the thickness and frays within a week or so of owning it. it's absolute garbage. just to give you an idea of how bad it is, i ordered this item less than two weeks ago and i am already on here looking for some way to find the old thicker ones.... even if it means buying used someplace... gross.

When I purchased this item, I was actually looking for different exercise equipment to take with me to the gym for my work outs. I stumbled upon this accidentally. I am glad that I did. It really does increase your sweating, as it it is supposed to and it is amazing how that really helps with the work-out itself. I didn't have it on for more than 10 minutes on the elliptical when I could feel it really taking effect. I believe it did help with my work out and I plan to make it a part of my work-outs most if not all of the time now. One nice feature about this product besides it actually doing what it says it does, is that the multiple zippers allow you to adjust it to your current size and then allow you to make it smaller and smaller as you slim down. This is also a bonus sense of encouragement. It is also very sturdy and can take a beating as you move around from machine machine, aerobic class to aerobic class, cycling class to cycling class etc.After using it, when you remove it, you will see all the perspiration. It aint pretty but it is encouraging! I cleaned that right up with some soap and warm water and it was ready to go again.I recommend this product to anyone looking for ways to boost their work-out, especially those of us wanting natural ways to give ourselves an advantage to progress.

I also have the Danskin Waist Trimmer Belt. These two belts work! My side muffins are gone and my mid-section has decreased too! They both make you sweat in the areas they cover. Here are the differences between the two. The Bally Slimmer Belt is thinner and covers more area. The Danskin Waist Trimmer is more adjustable because it uses velcro. This Bally Slimmer Belt has zippers, and is not as adjustable.IMPORTANT: The location of the zippers in this Bally Slimmer Belt is at 29", 33" and 36". My waist is 27" so I had to cut about 9" and resew it. Sewing this material was not easy -- mine is not lined up perfectly. Another reviewer though said she took it to her dry cleaner who had a seamstress.

I bought this product after reading several reviews that seemed to indicate the good out-weighing the bad. Well, it worked fine for a few workouts; but the rubber inside ripped when I adjusted to a smaller size. This indicated to me that the rubber is not strong enough to withstand much stretching. I sewed it up in hopes of maintaining the shape and elasticity, but the rubber ripped right through the stitches. Yikes!Currently, I still use the belt for exercise (although the ripped rubber may be compromising my results). The whole experience made me think that the product was cheaply made; and if twelve dollars is cheap, then I certainly got what I paid for! I will definitely be looking for something better while eating my savings!If you decide to buy this, it could work well for you; just make sure that you are gentle with the zipper and careful when stretching it to the next level!
