Awesome and does what it is designed to do.
TLDR: Great little device, would recommend to anyone with a diesel. This Edge product is great. I got it for my 06 Ford 6.0 and it allows me to keep a better eye on things to I can stay on top of issues (important with a 6.0) It does have some room for improvement though.Pros:many sensor inputs to monitor through the computer.large touch screen displayallows you to clear the trouble codes after you fix the problem without disconnecting the battery. (I had a code caused by my MAP sensor that just required a replacement hose. I didn't need to disconnect the battery to do the job so why would I want to do it to quickly clear a trouble code?)The supplied mount holds to the windshield like it has been glued there. The backup cam function seems like a nice thing to add on later (I have yet to put one on)Cons:I have yet to successfully get the "auto dim" feature to work (probably operator error).Other than that, none that I can see really though there is room for improvement.Suggested improvements:It would be great if Edge put a glass touchscreen on the device similar to today's smart phones.Maybe a quicker processor to handle some of the functions better. (It sometimes takes a bit to go from one screen to the next)A USB or SD card slot to store data over time rather than having to connect it to a PC. (this could also be used to push updates to it for those that don't want to take it out of their cars/trucks)Alternatively, Bluetooth and a companion app that could push the updates from a phone and log the information on the phone would be nice as well.Another alternative or perhaps a different model could be a Bluetooth OBD-II dongle that would connect to a phone and the phone would be the information hub.A forward facing camera capability along with the SD card and a faster processor could also allow this to be a good dash cam while giving the driver important information. I do like the backup cam ability too.Mainly for us 6.0 owners, while not necessary, the ability to set up a gauge or box that would take two readings and combine them or subtract them (depending on what is selected or what a user inputs) would be great. I like the ability to have my EOT and ECT on one screen, but I'm really mainly looking for one thing between those two and that's a temperature difference. I would like to also be able to set a range for it to alarm at, say +- 15 degrees once it's operating at normal temps or something.I do like the G-force, pitch, and roll information, but I think it would be nice if you could set it up where those would only show up if you were in 4wd (or Tow/Haul) or something. For my every day driving they are really not needed.Maybe a reading for fuel level, or an option to add a dual tank fuel level to be able to keep an eye on both tanks easily.

Edge CTS - good unit
I bought this unit for my 2003 Chevr 2500HD. I actually bought it cheaper here than my local dealer could buy them, according to him. I thot my unit was screwing up because I couldn't get my injector rates, initially. I called a friend who has a similar unit and truck, and he told me I needed to let my truck warm up for a while (it's winter here), and then remain very still with the truck in park, and then check the injector balance rates, and then it would work, which it did. The Fusion app to download to make sure I had the latest software was a pain in the butt, but after 30 minutes on the phone with tech support, we got it to work. Their app does not like Windows XP or Windows 8. I ended up putting it on my old laptop, which uses Windows 7, and it worked fine. Also, the tech guy told me that sometimes evil people will buy units that have problems and re-package them and sell them for cheaper than they should. I gave him my serial # off the unit, and he did verify that my unit was a brand new unit and the warranty is still good. He did also say that sometimes the warranty doesn't come with the unit if you don't buy from an authorized dealer, but they do try to help people out whenever they can. So, if you did happen to buy one from an un-authorized dealer, it would still be worth a phone call to the company and be straight with them, and they might still help you out. As for the unit, it is very cool. I like running mine on the 8-gauge screen. I like knowing what my voltage, exhaust tempt, tranny temp, rpms, mph, boost, intake temp, coolant temp, and what gear I'm in, and also if the gear is locked. They call that the 8 gauge, but I believe you actually get a little more info there, lol. Overall a very good unit, so far. I paid $326. I run this unit in conjunction with my DSP5 with 5 tunes. There is another unit out there, 85200, I think that can change the tunes right on the screen, but it's about $500. I just use my selector knob that my technician installed. If I have any changes to performance, I will report back here.

Everything on one small screen!
Easy install, reads and clears trouble codes, keep an eye on all kinds of temps and pressures. Make sure you update it on Edge's website before install! A must have for diesel owners pulling or playing!
