The Yubi looked like it ticked all the boxes as a better travel ...
I was looking for an upgrade to my Monster "Outlets-to-go" travel power strip (3 outlet + USB charging port) which is nearly flawless except for the lack of universal receptacles. The Yubi looked like it ticked all the boxes as a better travel solution. I knew it only had 2 outlets & no power switch by the picture and reviews here so no surprises there. My one star deduction comes from a couple of minor issues. First, unlike what others have said the cable is about 3/4" too long -- it should wrap around the device and plug into the furthest outlet for storage & transport. Mine is so loose that it slides over the end guides and doesn't tuck away securely. The other minor ding is for the tiny red power indicator LED which is set directly between the two USB charging ports. In some hotel rooms the light can be annoying due to lack of available outlets and the geometry of the room. With the Monster I just keep a small piece of electrical tape on the side which can be moved to block its light on the plug, can't see how to do the same without blocking one of the charging ports on this puppy. All in all a terrific device just inches from perfection.

Great for travel...but one or two nits.
I travel lots to lots of different countries, so having a short, light power strip is highly useful so that I only have to carry a single plug converter. And having 2 builtin USB ports makes up for the limited 2 sockets provided by the strip....since mainly, I'm using it for charging my tablet/phone, etc.The sockets offered by the strip are universal plugs that allow you to plug in almost any country's plug...which is not that useful for a consumer in the US/Canada...and actually makes it harder to plug in your US plugs, especially the 2 prong plugs. You really have to force a 2 prong plug into the socket since these sockets are designed so that a 3rd prong for ground is used to "open" the 2 prong part of the socket. But it works, and is great for airplanes with power at your seat. You don't have to fight or time-share the socket with your row mates...just plug this in and now everyone has a socket to share.I would design it so that 1) it has 2 US 3 prong sockets, don't need universal sockets, and 2) it has 4 USB charging ports instead of 2.

Nice device, tight fit for 2 UK plugs.
Purchased this to use an UK TV and UK PS3 here in the US. I have this plugged into a step up converter and it works well. My only complaint is that plugging two UK power plugs into this thing is kind of tricky as the plugs are really right on top of each other so it doesn't feel quite right. Both work, but they are putting pressure on one another.Other than that though it's a handy device and will certainly come with me if I do any international travel, as it's nice and small and also has the USB ports which always come in handy.

Almost perfect, EMI issues on USB @ 220V
This is now my go-to power strip for domestic and international travel (I use it with a separate set of adapter pieces). It's so convenient to have the USB outlets to charge my phone and Kindle (and not have to lug additional USB chargers around). I'm deducting a star due to high levels of EMI when using the USB charing ports at 220V (basically made my iPhone unusable while plugged in due to interference with the touch screen). There is no noticeable EMI on the USB ports at 110/120V.

I really liked everything about it, but after using it for six months, the USB PORTS QUIT WORKING.
I really liked everything about it, but after using it for six months, the USB PORTS QUIT WORKING. The USB ports fail to charge any devices.I believe this happened when I was charging two devices at a time -- my iPhone 6S+ and a tiny little battery pack (one that is pretty small, only charges my iPhone to 35%).If you get this, DON'T CHARGE TWO DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME or else it'll prolly die.

The Monster Power travel strip is better made, but doesn't have a surge protector (and ...
Does what it says. Sockets are a bit tight (presumably due to the child safety screens). Cable is a bit loose when looped around/plugged in for travel. Only 2 plugs. The Monster Power travel strip is better made, but doesn't have a surge protector (and the new 4 socket one doesn't have a usb charger)

I liked it for the short time that I had it. The USB ports failed like some others have said and the cable is a little to long to be a good wrap. I could deal with the long cable but the failed USB ports prompted a return.

Handy tool when traveling.
This is a very handy tool when traveling. My first thought was the Yubi Power Strip would transform power from 220 to 110, but this is not the case. It is an adaptor that will handle the different voltages. If you are traveling from the US to Europe, you will need an additional adaptor to plug into the wall. Once this is done you have multiple power/charging options.
