Boy!Does she love these pellets. And no bladder problems!
My guinea pig was hesitant at first but now she looks forward to a small bowl of these pellets which I mix with a bit of a crumbled Timothy hay cube.(control the amount of pellets , as always, and do not feed ad libitum of course). I have the confidence that these pellets will not cause her to get urinary tract problems common to g.ps (such as bladder stones) as they are the lowest in unwanted minerals and no alfalfa .First and foremost in the guinea pig diet is a good quality tasty Timothy hay ,of course. Ingredient listTIMOTHY PELLET INGREDIENTS: Timothy hay, whole wheat, soybean meal, whole oats, Pacific wheat, vegetable oil, molasses, Brewers yeast, salt, Vitamin C supplement, Vitamin A supplement, Vitamin D3 supplement, Vitamin E supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Choline Chloride, Folic Acid, Potassium Sulfate, Manganese Oxide, Zinc, Ferrous Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Lingon SulfatePlease note the company has recently changed hands.

Great Quality!
I have 5 guinea pigs and had been using Sherwood pellets; which they did not like and rarely ate - I tried 3 bags worth over 3 months. KMS had bee recommended by YouTuber SkinnyPigs1, and when I had given Sherwood pellets a real try I decided to get these.1st - they smell wonderful2nd - I'm only 3-4 weeks in and my pigs are loving them - with Sherwood pellets, as I was transitioning from their old pellets to Sherwood, the pigs would just eat around the Sherwood pellets and finally didn't eat the pellets at all. Finally the packaging is great, easy to open, resealable zip and the paper-type of package is dark which will mean a longer shelf life, if needed.

Recommended for preventing bladder stones in guinea pigs.
These pellets were a little pricier than I would have liked, bu t I decided to try them since I have heard from multiple (reliable) sources that they are one of the best pellets for helping to prevent bladder stones in guinea pigs. They were very fragrant and smelled very fresh. Some of my guinea pigs (I have 14 guinea pigs) were a bit suspicious of them at first, but they all ate some. These were a little dusty at the bottom of the bag, but not moreso than most pellets are. So far I didn't encounter any problems with these pellets.I meant to order more, but they are currently unavailable. Their website said something about a snowstorm delaying orders and production. I definitely do plan on ordering more when they become available again as I had a guinea pig who suffered from bladder issues and it was horrible having to watch her suffer and I would never want another one of my piggies to go through that again. She passed away last month (possibly from cancer).

My boys love this!
I switched my male guinea pigs over to the KMS Hayloft Timothy Pellets since one of them is now predisposed to bladder stones. I want to avoid another surgery for him, so I switched them from Oxbow in case that had something to do with it. I've already had three of five male guinea pigs have bladder stones (one died at 6.5 years with them, second one had very bad genetics so predisposed to them- got them at less than 1.5 years, and then most recent one diagnosed around 3 years) and maybe I just have bad luck... though had one male go to 8.5 years with no issues. Anyways, this was one of the switches to hopefully prevent future stones for Oliver and hopefully avoid them for his actual brother that I also have.My boys love these pellets. Nice and fresh. They don't have any of the seeds or other junk that some companies put in their guinea pig food. I've liked the ingredients in this food. A bit larger than the Oxbow pellets but my boys have no issues with them. They pretty much eat them right away when they go into their bowl. I do recommend ordering ahead of time so you have extra on hand because KMS did have a time that it was harder to get. I think because of the fires though.

Great Pellets!
KMS Hayloft Timothy Hay pellets are the best quality pellets I can find! Very fresh, bright green, and my guinea pigs go crazy over them! The only bad thing is the packaging - sometimes the sides/bottom of the bags split and leak pellets out, but is easily remedied with some tape.Excellent product - I will always buy pellets from KMS!

Best Guinea Pig food ever!!!
My piggies get excited when I refill their food dishes. 8 Guinea Pigs eat a lot and the girls are picky eaters. Thankfully, this food appeals to all of them. It smells like fresh hay and is not dusty at all. So glad I found this food!

Not the Best Option Out There
These eventually were approved to be consumed by the piggies. The pellets are a bit longer than expected. Not an issue. BUT these are not the best based on the top ingredients and soybean, which I recently learned about. Will not purchase again after learning that.

One Happy Piggy!
My guinea pig, Pudge, loved it! He stopped eating the Oxbow pellets, started losing weight, and a friend recommended these pellets. He started eating again and he gained all the weight back. Very happy!

Top Quality - Inconsistent Availability in Ontario
These pellets are amazing and enjoyed by my guinea pigs. Unfortunately though, I had to switch back to Oxbow because the availability of the KMS Hayloft pellets was spotty with snow storms over the winter. Oxbow Adult Guinea Pig pellets have a couple more additives and do not smell as fresh, but are always available in various pet stores and consistently in stock on Amazon. Hopefully KMS pellets become more available for Canadians one day soon. I was also charged duty fees, which was disappointing.
