Looks great!
Really easy to apply. Used Astro economy gun with excellent results. Texture is heavy but consistent. Looks great. Applied three coats over scuffed epoxy primer in the wheel wells. First a light coat and the other two were heavier coats. I estimate thickness around .015 to .020". Waited a few hours between coats. After a couple days, it's pretty tough but you feel the flex. I'm sure after a few weeks, it will be pretty durable. Didn't want a hard surface like truck bed liner so I think this is a good choice if you want sound deadening qualities with a black finish.

Works good, definitely recommend.
I used this on my 98' Jeep Wrangler, had a new skid plate that needed coating before the winter. I sprayed it with one of the undercoat/bed liner guns and it came out pretty nice, seems to have a stringy texture to it as someone else mentioned. Dried to the touch fast, will be buying more of this stuff. Considering a regular spray can has to be thinned for it to spray out of the nozzle, I'd say this is more cost effective if you have the equipment.

I used an economy undercoat gun which worked fine, sprayed with 40 psi air pressure
Very please with final results. Be aware, this process is very messy. I took all necessary precautions, full face respirator, protective suit with hood, gloves, fans for ventilation, drop cloth under and around sides of vehicle, masking around edges under car that you do not want to coat. I used 6 bottles of material to coat the bottom of a 73 Dodge Dart. First I removed all parts and old undercoating then sanded and wiped clean with Eastwood's Pre painting solvent. Next I painted the bare metal with epoxy primer. Instructions on the bottle says shake well -- this doesn't work, you must insert a paint stick and stir or there will be a thick glob inside the bottle that will clog your spray gun. I found this out the hard way. I used an economy undercoat gun which worked fine, sprayed with 40 psi air pressure. This products dries to a hard finish, does not remain tacky or rubbery. There are small rubber particles in the ingredients thus giving it a somewhat "hard" rubberized finish. For small touch ups I used 3M's rubberized undercoating in their spray can. It's a messy job but you should be satisfied with the results. Good luck with your project.

Nice result!
Restoring my first car. Have the body off the frame without the benefit of a rotisserie, so had to spray it from under the car. Still came out really nice. Like other reviews have said, it is messy, but I think it's worth it.

Arrived damaged
Just to be clear: I like this 3M product. In wheel wells, it is the bomb at preventing damage from road debris. And I have ordered it through Amazon before, with good results. But (a) the product was delivered next door, which I did not discover until my neighbor brought it over, and (b) when I opened the box it was lying on its side, next to a few packing air sacs. You can see the result. The bottle obviously cracked in transit. If the shipped had wrapped it in bubble pack it would most likely be fine. How much can a little bubble wrap cost? This stuff is $38/30 oz (over $162/gal)! I tried leaving the seller feedback, without result. Amazon tells me I can't return it. So here we are.So yesterday I had to scramble around and find it locally, at a premium (but whole). Not happy.

The best there is..
This is probably the best undercoating available. Rubberized is important, which many don't have. Therefore, it is thick and durable, something you can not duplicate from a spray can product. Expensive, but recommended for the job that deserves the best. One can goes a long way, but it depends on your job.

The key to spraying this stuff is mixing it really ...
The key to spraying this stuff is mixing it really well. First time I didn't and it clogged the gun. I also thinned it out by topping off the bottles with lacquer thinner, although I don't think it was needed for the gun. Even thinned, I couldn't get it to spray out of the 3M undercoating hose. Stuff doesn't go very far. By the time I am done I will have used 18 bottles to undercoat a 8.5' X 24' car trailer.
