These are the best pedals I have ever found. The craftsmanship is outstanding in every respect (what else would you expect from the Japanese?).For me the detachable feature is just what i need. I store my bike in the trunk of my car (front wheel off) and the detachable pedals ensure that my trunk does not get chewed up. The pedals detach (and attach) easily (I can do it without looking).While these are a bit pricy, they are to me worth every penny.

These attach and detach easily. The clip is a pain and I worry about losing it or breaking it but Ive had a pair (these were for a new bike) for 12 years and that hasnt happened yet. They are single sided so you have to orient them correctly (not a problem if you use toe-clips) but they work great. I dont have any slipage while riding.

My bike is a tern vektron s10. I broke my left side pedal. Switched it with easy to remove MKS pedal. Never look back so happy with my decision.

I had trouble mounting stub for the pedal, as the clearance between the pedal arm and stub did not allow my wrench easy access.I also do not like the requirement to have a cheap retaining clip inserted between the pedal and mounting stub. I can imagine one of these two clips breaking or being lost.

Easy to install. Top quality. Works as advertised.

These pedals are extremely strong. They're light, beautiful to hold and look at, and seem like a marvel of engineering. But they are idiotically designed, and I wish I hadn't bought them.1) They're tiny. I have size 11 feet and almost half my foot is off the pedal on each side. This is obviously my bad since I should have looked up measurements.2) They're single sided and not weighted. There is a nice lip at the outer edge that I can still curl my two free outer toes around, provided the pedals face the correct direction. But of course the lip makes that side heavier so they are always upside down. Neither of these would be deal breakers, but:3) They fall off. A lot. Some reviewers here mention clips. Ha, I did not receive those from my Japanese Amazon purveyor. I don't even pedal any more going downhill, too big a pain to walk back up and retrieve pedals. Standing climbs are... dangerous.They're certainly strong enough though, so I will probably buy the Superiors. And will have spent $200 on pedals for bike #3. Way to go Japan, who says you've lost your touch.

These are removable, and it works pretty well, just don't lose the plastic tabs (although I was able to get more).

After trying to fit folding bikes inside my Minivan, I find a better solution of using these detachable pedals, removing the front wheel and turning the handle bar 90 degrees reducing a standard bike to a much better package to fit. These are the third set of detachable pedals I ordered and am very pleased with how they work for me.
