VT2519 Hose to Drain Adapter Accessory for RIDGID Wet Dry Vacs

Worked great for draining the vacuum after sucking up water from a clogged up floor drain. Attached it to the vacuum and added on a valve. Just rolled the vacuum to the drain, opened the valve and the liquid came out.

The base (large end) of the adapter has internal threads to screw on to the Wet/Dry Vac. This works very well with the Gilmour 03V Brass Garden Hose Connector with Shut-Off Valve. I turn the valve off when suctioning through the vacuum and open it to drain. I can also attach a hose to the valve.

Fair for the cost

Bought this for a Craftsman Wet/Dry vac that I own. Product shipped on time and was well packaged. The adaptor fit securely to the vacuum with no issues at all. Only complaint is that it is overpriced for what is essentially a threaded piece of plastic

this works as a drain plug for my old craftsman vacuum.

I could never find this in Big Box stores and feel it should be included with vacuum so the shop vav can be used to pump water and other liquids without having to empy shop vac. Great product.

This permits draining the water in a wet/dry vac without having to stop sucking up the water in a saturated carpet to empty the wet/dry vac.
