USB Port Charging Flex Cable Replacement with Microphone for LG G6

My charge port ended up not holding the cable anymore so I purchased and installed this port. Definitely required some skill to install but has great fit and works perfectly.

Fit was good. Figured while I was replacing screen and battery might as well replace the port that has not worked from early on.

For the first time in years my phone charger does not fall out of my usb-c port on my LG G6. And I can still talk on my phone. The small cluster of complexity, whose myriad functions I had no interest in disrupting as I tried to remedy my phone charging issues, just plain works. You just keep on removing stuff until the part pulls free and then pull it out, drop this new one in, and go backwards to replace the screws and plastic frame. I replaced the battery at the same time, thus adding a bit of complexity in diagnosing why it would not turn on. The part fit flawlessly; it was the easiest part of the job to complete. If only LG made a battery plug-in connector as well as Apple does, I could have been done in no time. But that has nothing to do with this great well-made component.

I have an LG G6. I used this to fix the "play" in my USB port. It also fix the issue I was having with my microphone.

Charging port works great. I did not have the "moisture detected" error like others reported.
