A great elevation stand for laptop
Quite ergonomic and keeps the laptop screen steady. It is compatible with Del gaming laptops as well which is approx 2.4 kg. The stand takes up less space. Elevation upto 6-7 inch thereby providing room for the laptop from beneath preventing over-heating issues. Satisfied with the product.

Legendary laptop stand.
An excellent laptop stand which hasn't changed noticeably in the eight years I have owned one. I have purchased another ten or so since then.Pros+ Good looking design, a rare thing for a laptop stand; equally comfortable with a Mac or PC.+ Modular construction means that the stand can be disassembled easily into three pieces and stored in a small place or rucksack.+ Grips the laptop well, comes with additional clips at the front to prevent heavy laptops from sliding forward.+ If your desk space is limited, it will allow you to store documents etc underneath.+ Keeps the laptop cool.Cons+ Non-adjustable, but this is obvious from the design and there is less to go wrong.+ The fit between the clear acrylic base (?) and anodised arms could be a little tighter or snap into place to help the stand stay together when being moved around.

Well built, nicely designed.
This is a very nice laptop stand. Made from a single piece of solid aluminium, it has nice robust feel and has not problem at all holding my 15" MacBook Pro (Retina). There are some plastic caps that go over the aluminium ends to stop your laptop falling off. The bottom of the aluminium (that sits on your desk) has some kind of anti stick material on it to prevent it from sliding around too. It's great for dual screen users as the height of an "elevated" laptop is roughly the same height as a typical LCD external monitor so if you're moving windows between screens it's helpful as the top of each screen is the same height.Highly recommended - great design and well built. I feel that my laptop will be safe on it and won't fall off.

Perfect for a laptop desk setup
The Griffin Elevator Computer Laptop Stand - Silver/Clear came very well packaged and protected, eash item was bagged and in a box with protectors to stop anything knocking about. The stand requires assembly but this is not difficult as all, I would say this is a good think as it makes it portable which is a good bonus should you need to move it to another area. There is instructions with the stand for assembly too in case you should need them. The stand itself is very sturdy when assembled, the legs are made from what I think is Aluminium, and are held into place by a plastic housing. the legs have rubber feel to prevent the stand slipping on your desk surface, and two stripes of rubber on the top of the legs to hold your laptop securely and prevent it from slipping off the stand too, this is further secured with plastic clips on the end pf the legs to hols the laptop in place. The stand has my laptop sitting at a perfect height for me, I use my laptop with an extra monitor and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo while I have my stand further back on my desk to free space. The stand aids greatly with cooling, barely have any temperature fluctuations with my laptop as there is much better airflow access to the vents,I would highly recommend this product for a desk setup with a laptop.

The perfect laptop stand
First things first - this isn't a stand you use to type on/at. It is purely a riser to lift the laptop off the desk and present the screen at eye level for better ergonomics. So to use it you will need a separate keyboard and mouse. The stand itself is very discrete - aluminium legs which slot into a clear perspex brace with 2x perspex end caps to stop the laptop sliding off. All pieces push fit together and it's very sturdy once assembled.I'm using it to elevate a 15" Dell 7577 laptop which weighs a fairly beastly 4kg and it handles that no issue. The laptop overhangs the sides by about 2inches on either side and by about 0.5" at the rear but remains stable on the stand. I use mine with the screen shut, but when open it gives a second screen which is at a good eye level.Highly recommended product

Fab... five stars now I've assembled it the right way up hahaha
Haha I was just about to write a review of this saying it would be a lot better if you could store A4 paper underneath... then I looked at the photo and realised I'd assembled mine upside down.So you can store A4 paper underneath and consequently it's perfect!I like the look of it and it's a really nice height. I use a laptop pretty much all day and I've been a bit worried about getting a double chin with looking down at the screen all the time lol. I've previously balanced my laptop on all kinds of things to try to avoid this but this little stand is great. Brings my screen up to eye level and is also nice to look at which I like. Kind of minimalistic. It looks nice with my Caseflex bluetooth keyboard and the light metal casing of my laptop.Happy buyer :)
