Q: Any good for a cockapoo (not very curly)?

No this product is designed for smooth coated breeds of dogs, for removal of dead undercoat of which a poodle mix does not have. You would need a slicker and a comb for breeds such as poodles and spaniels.

Q: Would this work on my shitzu?

Not sure about shitzus but it works fabulously on our short haired german shepherd

I USE IT ON A LABRADOR AND IT IS GREAT TAKES THE HAIR OUT WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL, WELL WORTH THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT

Very much doubt it … didn’t work on my Dalmation total waste of time .
