Doesn't smell cheap
I bought this for my husband because it was cheap. I wasn't expecting too much for the price, but figured it would be good for a cologne emergency. He ended up loving it, which was great because I don't have to spend a fortune on his cologne any longer. It smells similar to the more expensive colognes he wears--he likes scents you can definitely smell, and this is definitely one. It has a nautical, outdoorsy, clean smell, but is a little on the strong side for those who like people to smell them coming. Great for the price, especially when times are tight.

I really like this cologne. I've tried Yacht Man Red, Yacht Man Blue, and Yacht Men Metal, and this one is my favorite. Yacht Man Red is more of a "nighttime" cologne that is stronger with a smooth, pleasant, and sweet aroma that will stay with you without having to reapply a bunch of times. Yacht Man Blue resembles Cool Water to me, but it isn't as strong and won't last as long as Yacht Man Red, so I've made Yacht Man Blue my daytime cologne. Yacht Man Metal seems to be the lightest of the three with a VERY light scent... it's barely noticeable. It's French perfume with Spanish brand.
Soft. Discrete, excellent fragrance. Don't like strong perfume. Resemblance to Brut I'm told. Not exactly however. Highly recommend. Price is low for quality. Others I like, German 4711.
