Disappointing experience
I have the same problem as several others. I tried with Volvo 1998 V70 and Chrysler 2002 Town & Country, using Galaxy S3 and S5. The adapter red light would come on, but the phones could not connect. I previously used a Power2 bluetooth adapter with the S3 phone and it worked great on both vehicles. I gave the Power2 to a friend in another town and was looking to replace it with this adapter. :-(

Good size, doesn't work with 2003 Nissan Frontier
This thing has the size I am looking for, but does not work with my pickup truck. My android phone can pickup a bluetooth signal from the reader, but simply cannot make the connection. I ended up returning and getting the BAFX one, which works very well the first time I tried it. However, I wish this one was capable, because the size is far more usable.

If you like malware and faulty products, buy this now!!
Purchased a unit on a whim. When it arrived, the only things in the antistatic package was the scanner and a sketchy looking Mini-CD-R. On it contained pirated versions of different software that could be used to read the data from the adapter, each program coming with a keygen.exe file containing Trojans. Also contained Android .apk files for Torque Pro. Complete waste of money, and will be returning it for something else with genuine ELM components.

so it's pretty much useless
The Torque app detected the EvZ and that it was plugged in, but EvZ would not communicate with the PCM, no matter what I tried, so it's pretty much useless. I'm not mad though, it was dirt cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. On the plus side, delivery was much quicker than I expected.

Wouldn't recommend, nothing but a headache
This product does not work as described. When I plugged it in it took forever to finally connect, and once it did it's response time to my cars various sensors was very slow. And to top it all off when it is connected my cars gauge cluster (speedometer, tachometer, and odometer) doesn't work until this piece of s*** bluetooth thing is disconnected.

This does occasionally drop connection and or has to be reset but given the price point and how useful this tiny gadget is I'm quite impressed. Because of those glitches though I'm deducting a star. Not a big deal and overall very happy with my purchase.

Saves a lot of money and headache
Although not compatible with every vehicle works great for my android stereo gauges on my radio plus diagnostics tell me what's wrong with my car and once fixed I can use it to turn my check engine light off well worth every penny
