Micro clean air filters are designed to remove airborne dust particles from the air in the workshop. They are compact, lightweight and very quiet in operation. They are capable of running for long periods of time while you work, and for best results, left running for a period after the dust producing activity has finished. An air cleaner should be used in conjunction with a dust extractor for maximum dust control. It is recommended that the air in the workshop is filtered by the micro clean 10 times per hour (minimum recommended level is 6 times per hour). Measure the three dimensions to calculate the cubic volume of your workshop, then check which size of air filter is most suitable. Manufactured in the UK using high quality components throughout. The filter is made of EU4 grade, non-woven, thermally bonded polyester fibres, which means it will filter out 95% of all dust at 2 microns or larger, 80% of dust down to 1 micron and 65% of dust down to 0.4 micron. The filters are low cost and very easy to replace. As a general rule-of thumb filters should be regularly checked and replaced every 6-12 months. The highly reliable motors are Swiss made to a very exacting standard. Thermally protected and most important to woodworkers they are spark proof, so less chance of dust combustion.
