Mews Corona Grey Chest of 4 Drawers Solid Waxed Pine 2 + 2 Drawer, Large, Bedroom

My husband put this this chest of drawers together last night. The diagrams were easy to follow and it took about an hour for him to finish it but he is used to working with this sort of thing He said the trick is sorting all the bitsa pieces out first. He found it easier than building a piece of Ikea furniture.....and with better results. One thing, when the flat pack arrived ....it was/is very heavy so maybe two people are needed to lift it to the location. It is also heavy to move when built so build it where you are thinking of putting it.I have to say I am impressed with this chest of drawers.The drawers are deep and spacious..... It is big, chunky, sturdy and nice to look at.Well worth the money.

Every DIYers and kit builders dream come true.These kits are not for the faint of heart so if you approach this as a quick flat pack assembly job , your going to come a cropper.It took me a good 2 days to assemble but I must admit I did dry fit a lot of the parts before I glued and screwed them together.And I do recommend you use glue as well as the screws provided, It makes for a much stronger finished product.But the end result is fantastic and well worth the effort all in all a great product.

once we got one that had all parts not damaged we found it was very easy to put together.it looks great and enough room for all our clothes. the bottom two larger drawers don't appear to fit well. not wide enough for the runners. have to fiddle to make sure it doesn't fall off the runners. once you know the trick it is ok.it could possibly be a fault in the corona range that the wood is very light and too easy to damage. some parts i could actually push in by thumb. but the price says it would be less quality wood. if you buy a solid oak that would cost at least 3 times. but still think that the item looks the part.

Beautiful bit of furniture but poorly manufactured. You have to keep a really close eye on where you screw things as some of the measurements are totally out and you end up with wonky bits. Nightmare to put together, so many nails and screws yet still feels a little flimsy. Would recommend ditching the black dots as they bend when you hammer them in of you're not incredibly careful. Good for the price though...

Love the large drawer at the bottom,the whole product is wonderful.I also can say the price is the cheapest i could find and as im on a limited income its well worth the price ,and the corona range is my ideal set .Very pleased with my purchase and hope to find other items at a nicer price for us low income people who love the products .

Nice piece of furniture for price, no chipboard in site. Rustic finish both myself and wife like, enough to have purchased 8 items in this range. Delivery is nice and quick also, Certainly buy more as & when needed.

Excellent....solid piece of furniture well packed and easy to put together even for a novice, 1 very happy customer. Especially loved the pre-cut front and simple but effective dowels to stop drawer's from coming right out of unit. Lovely big drawer at bottom. All round- 'Excellent'.

All fits together nicely and looks great. If you have the aptitude and take care, you get a good quality piece of furniture for much less
