Roald Dahl 7365 Matilda's Splendid Spelling Game, 2-4 players Toy – 1 July 2019

My daughter goes to sleep listening to this most nights. She loves the story and songs.

Got this game to play with our granddaughter who is six and progressing with reading and spelling. At present her words are simple and we can lay the cards out to help her find familiar words.She is progressing and likes playing this. Will not be long and she will be helping us.

Using for my 7 year old. Probably not challenging her for new or complex words but is keeping her interested in word games and thinking up words. Simply put its scrabble in card form.

I used these when I tutored on a Saturday morning and the children loved them! So many different games to play with good instructions included! Will definitely be using them when I’m back at school teaching!

We ordered this for our nieces birthday and were very pleased and felt it was good value for money and are hopeful she will enjoy the game.

Good quality but not quite what I was looking for!

My daughter loves Matilda so when we stumbled across these we had to buy them for her birthday box. She loves them & they are a great way to get child’s learning a little bit extra while lockdown is still happening.. thank you

I really don't understand all the rave reviews of this game, and I feel quite misled after buying it. I bought it to help improve my daughter's spelling, but it's basically just Scrabble with letters on playing cards instead of plastic letters. You get dealt a set of letters and have to make up words using them. So, if you can't spell, you will just spell words incorrectly from your set of cards. This doesn't improve spelling at all and your kids can't even play it on their own as they need an adult to check the spelling. Don't waste your money, unless of course you're looking for an alternative to Scrabble!
