The Best Upgrade To My Apartment, By Far.
This is the best $20 I've spent in the last year. My apartment is so much more livable in the summer. The velcro tape is extremely strong, I've actually tripped and fallen toward this screen and it held up to me leaning on it. I dont think a real screen door would have held up nearly as well. Be aware if you put it on a painted surface it might pull some of that paint up when/if you remove the velcro tape. For me I just plan to repaint the strip of the doorframe its adhered to when I move. The actual mesh of the screen is really strong too. My scoundrel of cat hasn't damaged it at all even stretching against it with his paws/claws. One thing I did do though is run a candle along the zipper to wax it and make the zipper run smoother. If you're on the fence about this thing, I really don't think you'll regret it.

Measure first!
This product seems like it’s of decent quality to not rip with pet claws, but be sure you measure your doorframe before buying! I saw “fits standard doors” and assumed mine were, but apparently they are not. It your doorframe is smaller than the width of the item, there is zero way to affix it or make it work.

Great choice, does need more adhesive
We bought this as a way to keep our office door open during August and September to keep the room cooler while our son went to online school but also to keep our cats and dogs out. Anyone who has cats knows they love getting on keyboards while you work. We got this and it truly did the trick. We thought maybe it wouldn't hold up to our bigger dogs or to the cats trying to claw at it but the durability of this thing is pretty impressive. Our cats scaled it like Everest, our dogs pushed on it with noses and pawed at it, our cats clawed it, and it held. I'm not saying they're wasn't some damage. There was. Small punctures from cat nails but no runs, no scratches, no tears. The only thing we found is that it needs a better adhesive design or something for the doorframe. We ended up having to put multiple pushpins into our doorframe just to keep it up there and even then we had to push some pins back in every other day or so from the animals messing with it. I will say that the adhesive on the floor held up just fine. It does work. You may just have to get a little creative to keep it tacked up.

Weak adhesive
While it mostly works, an keeps the cats out of the room while allowing my living room Heating/AC to reach the bedroom. I had to nail the top in to keep it up, and probably will have to nail the sides as well. The adhesive is not strong enough to hold it up, an it comes off the walls and floor constantly. I made sure to clean the areas with alcohol to prepare them. It stuck ok for about a day... I don't want to nail onto my floor so I dunno how long it will last sadly.

Excellent quality
We have had this up for around two weeks. I’m really impressed with how well made this is. We are in and out several times a day, zipping and unzipping and the tape has stayed stuck and zipper is easy. Absolutely no issues.

good for cat isolation/introduction
my family rescued a senior cat and the introduction process with our other cats was not going well. we are using this zipper door to potty train and isolate her periodically to slowly introduce her to the other cats and give her a space where she feels safe (as per Jackson Galaxy’s advice). this door is perfect! it’s easy to install (I was able to do it alone) and fits according to my measurements of the doorway. we have multiple cats and none have managed to scratch through the netting. I haven’t yet removed the adhesive, so I’m not sure if it leaves residue, but it is sturdy.

Excellent product
This screen door is of excellent quality and was easy to install. I needed a way to keep my two cats out of my studio in the wintertime (because it gets too cold in that end of the house to keep the door closed) and this screen was the perfect solution. They tried to claw it a couple of times (but didn’t leave any marks) before they gave up. It can be a bit tricky to get through if you don’t unzip it all the way and has almost tripped me up a couple of times but, regardless, I am a very satisfied customer!
