Works as advertised. Used it to replace standard solenoid operated sprinkler valves to reduce banging pipes when sprinklers turn on. Reduced the banging by about 90%. Probably would eliminate it completely if it opened a bit more slowly. Well worth it. It also eliminates the rubber/plastic diaphragm, which will eventually fail on the solenoid style.

I needed this for a HWH and heat exchanger and it has worked flawlessly since installation. I had used earlier a solenoid valve and it leaked within a few days (even the replacement I was sent did the exact same thing). It's a little more expensive, but it is worth it.

The valve worked great, until I ran into a very rare failure situation. The company was exceptionally responsive and accommodating, and was technically quite astute; they both resolved the situation (first, priority) AND diagnosed and explained it (ultimately very satisfying). Exceptional.

Using this as part of my leak detection system so if a leak is detected it can shut off the water to minimize damage. Will also try to integrate it with our security system so it can turn off the water every time we leave the house thereby preventing possible leaks. Requires only 5-6ma of current to keep it on so a 9v battery can easily keep the water on for a long time in case of power failures. Uses just under 500ma for about 5 sec to open the valve (2.5a initial 3ms surge). Can't speak to longevity and reliability yet but it looks well made and I don't expect any problems.

Works perfect to open and close my water containers

This was the best solution for my DIY sprinkler system running off of a well pump. I needed a programmable valve to turn my sprinkler system on and off from the hose spigot. The hose-end timer valves you see on Amazon and at the big box stores all restrict flow way too much by necking down to 3/8" openings. There wasn't enough flow getting to my sprinkler heads to work properly.I wired this up to a 24V sprinkler controller and my system works perfectly now with no flow restriction. It is normally closed and opens when energized. This is a great safety so if there is a power outage, the valve will automatically shut.

This was the excellent solution to activate my AirCon Mist Sprayer sysem, powered by the 24-volts that activates the AirCon Contactor. Low current (5 watts = 0.2 amps) and self-closing, so it doesn't overload my HVAC 24-volt power transformer, like the 24-volt solenoid valve did (because I tried that first), This is slow, takiing 2 to 4 seconds after the AirCon starts up before the mist starts spraying, but that's fine. The wonderful part is that this ball valve automaticly closes when the AirCon shuts off (24-volts removed). A clever circuit inside this stores enough juice to power the motor to close the valve. I expect that this solid-built, sealed electronics, motorized ball valve will serve me for many years.
