Excellent companion for my Apple MacBook Pro M4 Max
This hub is an excellent companion for my Apple MacBook Pro M4 Max.It delivers exceptional speeds, enabling me to connect three monitors and multiple hubs with RAID drive enclosures and various single HD enclosures. The USB3.1 connectivity provides remarkable performance, ensuring seamless transfer speeds. I have not encountered any issues with the wake-sleep features, transfer speeds, functionality, or connectivity. To optimize performance, I exclusively use USB3.2+ and Thunderbolt 4+ cables. All cables undergo rigorous testing using cable testers such as ChargerLab KM003C and BitTradeOne ADUSBCIM.I strongly emphasize the significance of utilizing high-quality cables when utilizing a hub from a PowerBook or portable.

Amazing dock! Well worth the price.
This is a great product. I have it plugged into a 14" 2023 MBP and it works great 100% of the time. It is plugged into two external 23" 2k monitors (via TB4 to DisplayPort cables), aux out cable to speakers, an external HDD, a midi cable to my pod go guitar pedal, AND it has no issue daisy chaining to a separate 7 port USB 3.0 hub (with its own power source) that is plugged into a couple other things. I have no issues waking/sleeping/disconnecting/connecting and everything is lightning fast. It is sleek, low profile, and the finish even matches my MBP space gray. It comes with its own TB4 cable AND power source which fast charges my MBP while maintaining all that other functionality. It's pricey, but well worth it.SIDE NOTE: about 50% of the time, I have to go into display settings (option F1 is a good shortcut) to rearrange my monitors. After extensive troubleshooting with Apple support, different cables, with and without the dock, different computers, pretty much every possible combination, I came to the conclusion that it's a known software issue when using identical external monitors on M1/M2 pro macs. So if this is happening to you, it's not the dock. In typical Apple fashion I've learned the workaround and accepted it in favor of a superior overall experience.

Works great with MacBook M1 Pro
Bought this for my MacBook M1 Pro to connect 2 external displays using USB-C and with other peripherals, like external speakers, and to power my MacBook. Wanted to be able to just connect one Thunderbolt cable to my MacBook each time I swap between office and home use of my MacBook. Was using wrong type of USB-C cable initially for one of my external monitors initially which did not work - customer support was responsive although figured out issue myself. Lack of HDMI ports may bother some but I’m fine with USB-C for my monitors (and adapters could be used if HDMI necessary for monitors). Quite pricey but still cheaper than a number of others I looked at and there was a discount when I bought it, which made up for the cost to ship to Singapore which wasn’t cheap (and had to ship through another company as it didn’t ship from Amazon US to Singapore). I like the built and it’s working great so far, and I’ve been a fan of Satechi products for my Apple devices.

Just works. Works like a champ.
With most new laptops, you're limited by the number of ports. I'm using this with my 2021 Macbook Pro to connect a 5k monitor, external storage, a DAC, keyboard, and trackball. Previously used several other hubs and this is by far the least fuss. The Macbook Pro was my everywhere machine for at least a year, running both MacOS and Parallels Desktop with Windows 11 for ARM, and I have never had any problems. The Macbook traveled with me and I keep the Satechi at my home station. One connection, and I have power and all peripherals. Greatly simplifies things. Before this I'd used several other brands and none of them were as solid or trouble free.

Didn't Work For Me
I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel like I should share my experience. My experience is based upon using this Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Dock 11-in-1 with a MacBook Pro M1 16".I really wanted to like this unit, however the Audio Out had an issue where it was setting the volume to MAXIMUM and changing the balance all the way to one side. Every time I rebooted my machine or changed the sound source the volume would get changed to Max, which was so loud that sometimes it scared me right out of my chair because I’d forget that it was going to happen.Satechi was very responsive to my emails, but they were unable to resolve the issue via any kind of software fix. They suggested that I had a bad unit, so I exchanged it for a replacement unit and the second unit I received was even worse than the first one because there was no audio at all! The Macbook did not see the Satechi audio port, so for me it was unusable.I ordered the QGeeM 16 in 1 Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station as a replacement and I was a little nervous that I might have similar issues. Maybe I had a problem with my laptop? NOPE. The audio is working perfectly, Every port on the QGeeM is working perfectly. Plug and Play at its best. Also, the arrangement of the inputs on the QGeeM is superior in my opinion to the Satechi. All of the items that I plug in and basically never touch again are in the back. All the empty ports are up front facing me. I like this arrangement much better. I am very happy right now!I wish the Satechi would have worked out. I do appreciate their responsiveness to my issue, but ultimately they were unable to identify what was wrong. Obviously something is wrong with their unit because the QGeeM is working and the Satechi did not (twice). I hope they identify a fix, but for now this was a no go for me.

Big thumbs-up
Using for past 1 year and works flawlessly. Didn't experience any power hiccup, ports or quality issues. M1 macbook pro here and I don't need USB-c power-brick that comes with it anymore as single usb-c cord that comes-out from front (poor design but I believe its unavoidable as all hubs in this price range has same issue) provides enough power and ports that I need.Highly recommend this product. Satechi is a good brand and it proves here.
