Detroit Axle - Front Brake Kit for 03-06 Ford Expedition Lincoln Navigator Replacement 2003 2004 2005 2006 Disc Brake Rotors Ceramic Brakes Pads

Installed on 03 Navigator and impressed with the quality. Very heavy and build quality is great. Everything so far I have gotten from them has been well made and built to last. Been on vehicle now for 4 months and 0 issues.

The shipping was faster than expected. The kit included 2 rotors, that seemed better built than stock or other after market rotors, ceramic brake pads and a can of brake cleaner and new bottle of synthetic fluid. There is a bedding process for the ceramic pads. Drive up to 40 mph and then with moderate pressure slow down to a complete stop. Do this 6 times. Then drive to 60 mph and aggressively brake until you reach 15 mph. Do this 8 times. After this is complete, drive for 5-10 minutes at normal speeds to bring the rotors and pads back to normal operating temperature. Once this is finished park the vehicle and let the brake system cool completely. I would also recommend to bleed the system completely if the brake fluid is not clear. I followed this exactly last night on my 2004 Expedition and let it sit over night. I drove today and the brakes work and feel perfect. I will definitely be purchasing these again in the future.EDIT: After driving for a few days I have started to have the slight squeak at very slow speeds or turning as a few other reviews have stated. I made sure to add the grease to the clips but may end up using a different grease to try and get rid of the squeak.

I like the product and it was like factory replacement parts. The issue that I have is that after breaking in the brakes. They squeak with little slightest pressure, like backing out of your driveway or rolling through a parking lot looking for a spot to park. Squeak Squeak Squeak. Can be a bit embarrassing. You need to Heavy brake or none at all otherwise you will get the Squeaker
