Alternator
Put the alternator on 1.5 years ago. Tractor has less than 30 hours on it and it quit. Just my luck!

Same as OE unit.
Used to replace the OE alternator on my Massey Ferguson 231S tractor. Arrived a day early with a slightly bent fin on the fan; easily straightened with pliers. The alternator is listed by the seller as 36 amp output but is labelled 50 amp output and is identical to the OE unit it is replacing. Looks to be of same quality as the OE unit which was full of dirt and dust and not charging. Tractor alternators should be blown out with compressed air from time to time to reduce the possibility of damage from heat due to accumulation of dirt and dust on internal components. Also, make sure the factory protective shroud is in place when installing the alternator. Purchase without concern.
