We were thrilled to receive our scratch map from Wander and Explore Maps. It’s all we thought it would be and more! Things we love about our scratch map and reasons it stands out from the rest:- it has a minimalist, elegant and uncluttered design (there are no flags on it)- the water color design is fun, vibrant and not dull- the font is beautiful, not your regular standard font- it scratches cleanly- the map fits a standard size poster frame,or a 36 inch magnetic frame for easy framing- scratch tools are included as well as optional stickers- this would also make a great gift as it comes packaged in a gorgeous, sturdy tube( we had ours shipped from the other side of the world and it arrived in excellent condition)A fabulous scratch map!

This beautiful map came in perfect condition packaged in a sturdy tube to protect the map. The packaging includes scratching instructions on the back which is a nice feature especially if you give this map as a gift to someone who doesn't know what a scratch off map is. The map is very easy to scratch with the included tools. I mostly used the included guitar pick to scratch my map but I used the scratch pen to scratch the detailed areas. I was mindful to use lighter pressure and the side of the scratch pen instead of the point (as the instructions suggest) and it worked just fine without scratching into the paper. The design of the map is beautiful with nice fonts used for the ocean names and countries/states. That is one of the features that made this scratch off map stand out to me- most other scratch off maps I’ve looked at use very basic, boring font. When you scratch the map to mark where you’ve been the colors you reveal are vibrant as you can see in the picture. I’m really wanting to travel more now so I can scratch off more of my map. I recommend this map as an awesome gift for yourself or a traveling friend!

It is a beautiful map, but few things.New Zealand was misspelled. This was disappointing.I was disappointed that Antarctica is left off. Being that its a Buckleylist item, its disappointing its not on the map, I’ll have to ask my artist sister to draw it in I guess.The scratch pen no hood. Left marks on Iceland and Italy even though i was scratching gently, there are still marks on the map... for the price, I’d hope for betterHowever, the colors are biright, size is amazing. And the white background allows it to go in any room.

This is really a beautiful map- I've been having a blast scratching this map and revealing the vibrant colors underneath! I think it looks beautiful on my blue wall in my office. This map is very good quality at a great price. It's a huge bonus that this map fits a standard size poster frame! I looked at a dozen different scratch maps on Amazon and they're practically ALL odd sizes, it would cost another $50 or more just to frame them. This one fits perfectly in a frame I already had at my house that I had used for a poster some time ago. I think it looks great!!! I'm very happy with this purchase! :)

Some months ago I looked at scratch off maps online and noticed many reviews of scratch maps that complained of inaccuracies on those maps. One map with a black background had Michigan incorrectly depicted and the Great Lakes were missing entirely. I decided to purchase a popular black map that seemed more accurate which you can see in the pictures- I’m including the pictures to show the difference in size. I was disappointed at the small size of the map and I found the scratch material smudgy, I quickly gave up scratching that map. I looked again and came across this Wanderlust map, it is so much nicer, it's beautiful and as far as I can tell it is accurate. This map is only a couple dollars more than the small black map, yet the paper is thicker and its more than twice the size and scratches more cleanly. It's really a much nicer product. I'm very happy that I found this map! I love it!!!

I bought this scratch map to document all the places I’ve been. I think of myself as a very well-traveled person but now when I look at my map I realize that I still have so much of the world to see!The map came with some nice stickers though I think I prefer the look of the map with no sticker for now. I had no trouble scratching this map. I used the guitar pick for most areas and the pen for the detailed edges. I recommend being careful with the scratch pen don’t use the sharp point to do scratching I think it could potentially scratch the paper, hold it at a 45 degree angle as the instructions say and it will work fine.I decided to go with a 36 inch magnetic frame instead of a traditional frame to hang the map so that I don’t have to take the map out of a frame to scratch more places in the future. I’m very happy with this find on Amazon!

I purchased this poster as a way to display my travels, but little did I know that it would actually help plan future trips. I thought I had seen a lot of the world, but after seeing where I've been scratched off I realized there is SO MUCH MORE to see. I have since redone my trip wish lists to cover areas of my new map that need some love. I'm absolutely thrilled to have it in my possession and cannot wait to uncover more of the beautiful map colors with each new state and/or country border crossed.Materials: This poster is thick and durable. The included scratching tools for broad and fine removal do an excellent job.
