Brought back a 20+ year old camcorder to life
Cheap and cheerful and best of all my 20+ year old Sony Handycam is now fully functional yet again

Not often you get reliable and dirt cheap together, but you do here!
A reliable third party battery that has a decent capacity, gives a proper % remaining value, and best of all, costs far less than the Sony equivalent.I use a number of these for video production (they power Aputure Amaran LED video lights, and last hours!) , and have been using them often (every other weekend) for about 6 months without any issue so far (so have already got my money's worth!).I own a couple of small video lights (which I occasionally use as rim lights or to light white photographer's backdrops) that can take one of these or 6 eneloop batteries (which are themselves a good brand), and the DSTE outlasts the eneloops by a VERY long way, and provides a much brighter light whist it is at it!I will update if I ever get any issues (but already doubt I ever will!).

Works with a Mavica
Replaced a Mavica's original battery with this one. Battery life seems great.On the downside, it's slightly thicker than the Sony one, so it's currently stuck in the camera; will need to find a way to remove it.

Bought as a replacement for the original Sony battery which no longer charged and it fits and works perfectly.

It charges the light brigade!
Excellent, charges in good time, and holds a good charge too. I use this with an LED light for filming and it does the job perfectly. Very happy to recommend this. I've bought two so far, and will get more soon.

I needed a new battery for my Sony Video Camera and this seems ideal. It charged well up to full capacity and is a reasonable price.
