DEWALT 32628603 Collet and Nut, 1/2"

This collet fit perfectly on my dewalt router. Would buy this cheaper one again.

Not much to say....it's a collet. It did arrive on time and in great condition.

This collet looks well built and screws onto the router easily and smoothly.

The media could not be loaded. Amazon advertising page for this item clearly says that one of the Compatible Products for this item is the DEWALT Router, Fixed Base, 1-1/4 HP, 11-Amp, Variable Speed Trigger, Corded (DWP611), Yellow.But that's not true. See video. It will not work on the DWP611 router.It was sent from Buckeye Tool in Ohio. I wrote to them asking if there was an adapter. They responded and said that I must not contact them directly, but that I had to go through Amazon. So I did, and my query was sent to DeWalt.DeWalt let me know that my email was received, but then I heard nothing for the next ten days. Then I wrote again and got an immediate response from someone who got it wrong and offered me a replacement for the 1/4" collet that the router came with. I said thanks but no...I then re-stated my query and asked directly if DeWalt had some kind of adapter that I could use to make this 1/2" collet and nut work. The representative said no, and that I should return the item to Amazon.I would like to give this item four stars. It is made well enough, although close inspection shows poor craftsmanship in the cutting of the kerfs in the collet. Because of the mis-representation in the so-called 'Compatible Products', this item gets the lowest rating possible.

I bought this over the knockoff versions because I want to be comfortable with something that spins a sharp cutting thing at 22000 rpm.Fits the router perfectly and no issues in use.
