Shorrocks Large Lancashire Cheese Bomb Hamper 460g with Stockan's Thin Orkney Oatcakes

I am from Lancashire so I know a good cheese when I taste it. Have bought these before so know these bombs are really a treat and the look on peoples faces when they see a "bomb" is priceless. Then they discover what cheese should really taste like!

We love this, it’s our treat and it certainly is very pleasing to the palate. We were introduced to this at a Christmas Market in Lavenham and it’s honestly the best cheese I’ve ever found. Lovely with wine too on cosy night in or a summers night outside.

Order arrived in a brown cardboard box with no hamper box as shown. Disappointing.

Purchased for my husband as a random Valentine's gift, as we are both Lancastrians living in the midlands, where you just can't get proper Lancashire cheese in the supermarkets.Tasting this took us both back to tea time "up north" and with the oat cakes the cheese is a little bit tamed down for my softened pallet...Hubby was well impressed with the weight of the bomb and loved reaquanting himself with the taste.Will definitely repurchase!

I was brought up in Lancashire, and cheese was never this bland.

Very good flavour and well packaged item. We were able to use over the Christmas and New Year period, no wastage. Would order again as unable to get Lancashire cheese where we live.

Delicious and fantastic service from the seller. Bought it as an ‘Easter egg’ for a friend - it’s almost egg shape!
