These cans of chicken are the white pieces of chicken that vary in texture some pieces are firm, other pieces are soft not mushy soft, good source of protein when fresh meat is not available, the moisture content is at a normal level to keep the chicken from drying out. With these cans you will need to use a can opener these cans do not have the pop top on them. The taste is of regular boiled chicken not overly salty tasting. This chicken is an item I can use for sandwiches and salads in a pinch on times I don't want to cook.

Great on toast. It tastes exactly the way I remember it form when I was a kid in the 70's/80's.

I used this to make a new meal out of some leftover pasta and veggies. I just added some sfredded cheese and stock and microwaved it. Season to taste.

Stored correctly, this can be edible 5 years after expiration date. I know this for a fact...That said, why would you eat canned chicken other than reasons of survival?Anyway, upon opening the can you'd know immediately if it's still edible.It's either chicken, or putrid.

Couple cans were dented but seal wasn't broken. Good price much less than what they charge in my stores.

Can was severely dented which can cause botulism. I will not return item, however I am requesting a refund and I will no longer order this item.

Nice taste and quality, but should be in a larger can size. Sometimes need more than one can if making more than one serving.
