Best for beginners
this book is absolutely one of the best choices for beginners. I am a student of geoinformatics so I want to gather basics of geology and geological significance in engineering structures. Glad to buy this.

Good book, but need to be revised
It a good book. Though it's a the eighth edition, still not revised. The book still keeps pluto as a planets and satellite numbers are wrong. There might be other such problems, but the basic concepts are clearly explained.

This book seems that earlier it has been used .
The media could not be loaded. Book was not at all new , It was dull , pages were on scratches, In the index part of the book there were tick marks on topics which proves that this book is second hand .
