3M Medium 5000 Series Half Face Disposable Air Purifying Respirator

Used this for doing a bathtub refinish. Worked great and blocked out out all of the nasty chemical smell. The mask may smell like rubber though when u\you use it for a long period of time but i didn't care because that's much better than smelling the paint! I found it to be pretty comfortable to use and i'm pleased overall with the product.

This is a great product - I have a small face, and even though the mask would fit and seal well on a larger face, it was easy to get a good fit and seal for myself. I wear glasses and goggles with a tight seal over them, and I was able to get a good seal with the mask after minimal adjustment, without the mask or goggles interfering with each other in fitting them. The only complaint I'd give is that there are two pieces of oval cardboard sitting in the inner side of the cartridges, but no instructions regarding whether these need to be removed or if the cartridges need to be "opened" or "activated" or are "ready to go".

I had to acid wash our pool this year and had never used a respirator before. I bought this and spent several hours spraying acid, scrubbing, and rinsing. This worked great had no leaks, was able to breathe. Great product will buy another.

Works great for dust and vapor control. Not so good for smoke, but then it is not designed for that.

It arrived with black scuff marks on it and looking used. Perhaps it was refurbished?

Used this respirator for putting down a 2-part epoxy floor. MUST HAVE! Not only for the fumes from acid washing, but the so-thick-you-can-cut-them VOC fumes from the epoxy. I had the mask on for hours without discomfort. I nearly choked when I took it off to take some photos since the fumes were so thick.Very good value/investment.

Great item, use for changing cat litter and for allergy protection while cleaning. Does the job on both fronts, no smell and no sneezing :)

I'm preparing for the end of the world. And what better way to extend my life so I can watch as the aliens descend upon us, than to have a decent respirator. Just that few extra minutes is all I need!Or for the daily life. when I bleach the bathroom. I won't be getting holes in my lungs any longer.Honestly - this mask is awesome- I never had fresher air entering my lungs. I would wear this all day every day if I could - that is if it weren't so big and obvious and if it didn't make a dent around my nose in the shape of a triangle.Maybe I'll wear it in a performance someday on stage.
