Brydge 10.5 Keyboard for iPad Air (2019) and iPad Pro 10.5-inch | Aluminum Bluetooth 4.2 Keyboard with Backlit Keys (Space Gray)

Having seen this back when looking for a keyboard alternative to the official Apple one, the original price of £120 odd always proved just too much for me to justify buying. I was also concerned seeing some of the reviews about the keyboard being sometimes unreliable. Seeing the recent 50% price drop was enough to get me to take a chance, and am happy to report that this is the 'series ii' version, where any of the reliability issues have been ironed out. For the keyboard itself, it is wonderfully tactile and feels almost as god as an actually MacBook in terms of quality of typing. Connection and set up was super quick, and I've charged the keyboard once so far upon arrival, and it still has about half charge left after two weeks (I don't think I charged it to full either). It's been a genuine help to productivity as it makes typing so much easier and actually enjoyable. In terms of what other people have said about the iPad sitting too low in order to swipe up for the dock - I can confirm this is the case although it is possible to have the iPad sit higher in the holders in order to access. However, I've found that using the keyboard shortcut is easier. the grips themselves have a firm hold on the ipad so there seems little danger of it slipping out unintentionally. All in all a great product, particularly for the current price of £60

I'm very happy with the Brydge keyboard for my iPad Air 3. Although it is thicker than the Apple Smart Keyboard, it is much more pleasant to type on and the backlit keys are really helpful in low light. Pairing with my iPad was very quick and easy. Combined with a bluetooth mouse, this keyboard makes the iPad much more versatile and useful. I'm looking forward to taking it with me when (or if) I travel so that I can have all my content as well as do a bit of work, if needed.

I like the illuminated keyboard and the feel of the keyboard. It does what I want but it is slow to connect to my iPad. I expected that they would remain connected when I close the two together. Not true. I have to wait, maybe 30 seconds, for the on screen keyboard to disappear and the Brydge to connect each time I open them up to use.

This upgrades the ipad to a laptop almost

I started using this product about a month ago. The features are excellent and love it so much until recently found the rubbers inside the grip were popping out and try to put it back. Well it couldn’t work and my IPad is always coming out from the grip. Can I have it exchanged as I love it.

A great Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad. The quality of the product transforms an iPad into a mini laptop. Easy sync with built in shortcuts. Well worth the extra money.

Very apple like feel to it. Premium build beaultifully designed and fits perfectly. I forge sometimes it is still an iPad. A little delay sometimes when it comes out of sleep mode but that really a very small distraction of this great little keyboard. Do not delay and get one, you will not regret it.

Really good keyboard. It is not exqctly light, but typing experience is good and it feels stable on my knees.
