Very cute toy. Everything is wooden and good quality. The toy was easy to put together but did take about 15 min. It does coke with all the screws but you will need a very tiny screwdriver.

Furniture is well made and the perfect sizeMy Grandaughter loves it.

So, we have recently plunged into the realm of American Girl dolls. I was looking for a decent kitchen for my daughters doll house. The brand name AG gourmet kitchen is $250 and I could not bring myself to pay that. I am not a fan of plastic toys so that ruled out the OG kitchen. I was so excited when I found this Eimmie kitchen!If you hate putting things together, this product is not for you momma! I opened the box and emptied it’s contents on our kitchen table. It literally took me 4 hours with a short lunch break in between. It’s very tedious to assemble.The quality control definitely has room for improvement as I did find one piece with a crack and our stove top was crooked. The cracked piece wasn’t on a outward facing piece so i did not bother contacting the manufacturer as i did not want to put the whole kitchen assembly process on hold to wait for a replacement piece.The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I wasn’t missing any pieces. You have to be very careful putting this product together because even the slightest slip of the screw driver can leave ugly marks on the white finish.The play value on this is huge. It comes with a ton of accessories. Another perk is that our AG brand utensils fit nicely inside the utensil drawer. The AG lasagna pan fits neatly inside of the oven which is awesome because that pan doesn’t fit inside of AG’s own gourmet kitchen.I love how this kitchen looks inside of our dollhouse!

I am not going to lie, this thing was a nightmare to put together. It took hours. Be prepared for frustration and head scratching. That beings said, it was totally worth it! My 8 year old has been asking for the American Girl gourmet kitchen, but I could not justify spending $250 on a toy she’ll grow out of.I got this one for her birthday and she LOVES it! This set will last years. I was surprised by the quality of the materials. This set is solid wood, even the accessories. And it comes with a ton of fun accessories.In my opinion, This little kitchen is waaay better than the AG kitchen as far as quality of the accessories, the solid wood kitchen itself, and bang for your buck.The color palette isn’t spectacular, but this is something that I could easily take apart and paint for her if she wants to update it.All the parts came undamaged and it included a few extra screws. My only complaint was that the knobs on the pantry door couldn’t be tightened all the way because the holes were too small. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product if you have the patience to camp out for fours hours and put it together.

I just finished putting this desk and chair together. This grandma had no problems, at all, in assembly or with splitting wood. I almost didn't purchase this when reading some of the reviews - but so glad that I did.Many people in other reviews complain because the screws don't have points and may look flat. The type of screws that are included for assembly are called 'self tapping'. I found it is helpful, when lining up the screws to the pilot hole, to make a few turns by using my fingers then finishing with the screwdriver. Also, if you use a magnetized screwdriver for those tiny screws for the hinges, it's very helpful.I know my granddaughter is going to love this Emmie Desk and Chair set!

The positives: My daughter LOVED this, she’s 7 and obsessed with American Girl Dolls and other like them. One assembled, it is adorable and seems sturdy and nicely made.The negatives: My box was missing the assembly instructions, not a huge deal since a quick google search pulled them up. However, there are over 30+ pieces that each come with a small sticker number on them in order to identify them. Multiple pieces were not numbered at all and a handful were numbered incorrectly, making the initial process to start assembly extremely long and tedious. I used the online instructions with part list to identify those pieces so that I could move onto assembly.We were also missing the pull out drawer all together, which we didn’t realize until the absolute last step of assembly. Bummer!The assembly was extremely meticulous. You start by adding all the hardware to each piece, which took over an hour. Once the hardware was on, then you assembled each piece, which took another hour. The assembly wasn’t difficult, just meticulous and tedious and took forever. I highly recommend using a drill, instead of a hand screwdriver, it will go much faster.I’m still waiting on the seller to reply to my request for the missing drawer to be sent, so hopefully they will do that because I am absolutely not returning this after spending time putting it together.
