Get the correct soap and you should NOT have an issue. Need to upgrade the batteries.

I bought 2 of these for commercial restrooms. We had an upcoming event and wanted to update a few things. The day after I installed them, one of them stopped working and started flashing like the batteries were dead. (The other one was missing the batteries, bracket, key, and hardware) I replaced the batteries and they worked for a few days, except they didn't always dispense like they should. Sometimes it was foam, sometimes a bunch of liquid, sometimes nothing. The day before our event, both of the devices stopped working! They both started flashing like they did before I replaced the batteries. There was nothing I could do to get them to work, so I had to get a couple pump dispensers for the counter. It was very disappointing. I missed my return window by 3 days, so now I'm stuck with them. Don't make the same mistake I did!!!

The soap dispenser works just as described. It works for a small or larger business. Terrific value for the money!

This runs on 4 D sized batteries, that provide the power to automatically run the soap dispenser. Put your hand underneath, it triggers the pumping mechanism and you get some soap on your hand.We ended up going back to the manual pumps -- one they were just much simpler, no batteries, no hassle. The mechanism on the battery ones are a lot more complex, and we had some issues with it sometimes not properly pumping.The refills are kind of pricey for what they are, but you can get a couple different types of soap, and hand sanitizer as well.

I couldn't believe the price, so I ordered enough to cover our entire building...so happy I did! Would have spent a small fortune with other competitor products or a service based company. As we expand will be buying more!

The media could not be loaded. Update: Solved the mysterious dispensing issues! This soap dispenser like 99.9% of all dispensers uses infrared. So it needs space. More than 6 inches or it won’t work above a typical white porcelain sink. However it will work with less than six inches if you place a black surface like a soap dish to catch extra soap under the sensor as black absorbs infrared radiation and so makes it easier for the sensor to sense your hand. I Went through two of these on Amazon only to find out that this 6 inch minimum critical instruction is in the diagram not in the actual written instructions. Wasted time that could have been saved with simple warnings. Exasperated but solved!!

I bought three of these for my salon when we were preparing to re-open with new Covid guidelines to help reduce touched surfaces to prevent spread. We re-opened May 20th. Its now July 24th and the one that gets used the most at our hallway sink has stopped working twice in the last week. It gets jammed or something, Im not exactly sure. I take the soap container out & put it back in and it starts working again. I had to change the first soap container I put in it because it wouldn’t work at all. I’ll update this review if anything changes.UPDATE: I started having problems with one of the other ones also jamming so I gave up and replaced them. (See my profile for that review). Maybe it was the soap containers and not the dispenser itself but either way, they are not dependable. I do not recommend these at all.
