Decent cooler - TERRIBLE Software
Well, it looks nice with the OLED screen and it does keep an i7 9700k remarkably cool but thats where the positives about this Ryuo ends for me.The software from ASUS is awful. They just never seem to get it right with ROG - which is a shame as its their premium brand and you pay ROG tax on their accessories (it aint cheap)Trying to control the fans or change the OLED settings usually resulted in the Armory Crate software throwing up an XML error - or just time out and crash, asking you to retry > infinite loop!Booting up the PC, the fans on this cooler would be at 100% so its sounds like the Blitzkrieg is going off in my case.Nothing you can do as for some reason its forgotten the fan curve you had and just boosts to 100% - with no software control to scale it back.Uninstalling and reinstalling the software, or going to the program data hidden folder and delete the xml file for the fans would sometimes work but not always... Doesnt matter what your fan curve is in BIOS either or in Fan Expert - this cooler just ignores it and does what it wants :(I even completed a complete reformat, thinking my old AIO software was conflicting. It worked as it should for about a week, then BAM... back to freezing and being a massive pain in the arse again!I paired this cooler with a ROG Strix Z390F board yet it still struggled to work properly.Check out the ROG forums to see the 1000s of other people who are at their wits end with this cooler and the Ryujin too which both seem to suffer from software issuesIve sent this back to Amazon and go the H150i XT for the same price, same cooling and without 100 software issues! To summarise: When it works, its a bloody good bit of kit, but the software from ASUS (again) is just woefully bad and hard to work with.

its ok
like any other cooler other than the lcd pump header, pretty good cooling on comparison to similar products though I knew when I paid the premium I was literally paying more for the eye candy. though for this price point asus could have jazzed up the radiator in comparison to the corsair h100 series which looks a little more well finished off

not worth the money
its not worth the money there are better low priced CPU coolers. you are paying for the oled screen on the CPU block

OLED DISPLAY
The OLED display is not functioning properly. Only the red color displays the image, without showing any other colors or animations. The RGB light and cooling fans are functioning effectively.

Software is pants. Hardware is good.
So a few months down the line... This thing is an absolute nightmare. The hardware is good but trying to control this with Asus software is just off the chain bad.Aura sync/ AI suit 3 and live dash cause so many conflicts that your system will develop strange crashingarmoury crate is just as bad...Removing the damn programs also caused enough pain. To just say na and reformat the drive reflash the bios.Ripped it all out slapped in the old Nh-d15 and never looked back with zero issues.Do yourself a favour do not buy this trash until Asus actually put effort into their software. Will be getting a refund.
