It's not that we can't park without them, but it it nice to be consistent since our garage is getting full. I didn't even have to anchor them to the floor. They don't seem to move. I've got a Tacoma TRD Off-road and you will know when you hit it. I even squished one pretty good and stayed parked on it for a while. It bounced right back. They do smell chemically at first. It's good heavy rubber. It was a good buy.

Just received these today. They are definitely heavy duty and made of real rubber. The listing says they are 14 lbs each but I weighed them at 13-13.5 lbs. Haven't had the chance to test them but they appear to be able to do the job. I don't plan on drilling holes in my garage floor but I think if the floor and the stop are clean, they should stay put. I'm giving them 4 Stars now but after I test them I don't see why I wouldn't give them 5 stars on a follow up review.2-20-19 Follow up review - After using these stops for a few weeks I'm going them 5 Stars. Good quality and heavy as stated. They are not fastened to my garage floor but do come with fasteners that are for drilling into concrete. I choose not to and to not use any adhesive tape. As a result they can move a bit if your wheel does not come in contact with or near the center of the stop- but that's my choice. Also, they do not weigh 14 lbs as stated but closer to 13 lbs - not that big of a deal but the extra pound would help. They are expensive but for the price they should be 14 lbs. All in all they seem to be the best there is and I'm satisfied.

I'm out working in my garage a lot and thank goodness I didn't need these immediately. They have an intense creosote-type of odor, so bad i left them out in the side yard for most of last summer, occasionally drenching them with some old cologne (no kidding) and finally the smell went away. They work great - heavy, durable and really don't need to be fastened to the floor - but be forewarned.

These parking blocks are just the thing you need for your garage. They do not slide easily when you hit them with your tires. They help you to park in just the right spot.

These are heavy and well made, and there were two in the package. I put one down for my husband's car and used the other for my car. My husband was skeptical that they would stay put without bolting them to the cement floor. Well, they do work, and it's easy to "feel" them when you coast up after pulling into the garage. We've had them several weeks and they haven't moved at all. We like the fact that we don't have to guess where to stop any more. The product is a little expensive, but the quality and weight of the rubber is worth the price---and the fact that they are moveable without any permanent installation makes them ideal for what we were looking for. Highly recommend.

This product works really well and I did not have to bolt or use any adhesive. It just stays. However, it has a very strong smell. It's smells like new new black pavement. It's been a few weeks and the smell is still rampant in my garage. It's so strong that when the door from my house to the garage is opened, the smell gets in my house and stays for a while.UPDATE: Sept 23 2020. The smell has gone away on its own and the bump stop still works very well. Solid product.

THESE WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT BOLTING THEM TO THE GARAGE FLOOR. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE REVIEWS THAT TELL YOU OTHERWISE. I do not want to damage my newly finished garage floor installing these. Unfortunately I'm out of the return window. Money wasted. Also, even though they have been in my garage for almost three months, they still have a very very toxic odor. Buyer beware! Will try and give away for free, else into the trash they go.

Wanted something that I could put down so I could pull into the garage as much as possible. Must say when you open package there is a strong rubber smell which goes away
