Product arrived on time and although I am not an expert in hair care products, Create and Shape is easy to use and I am very happy with the product especially when I am out walking on a very windy day.

Arrived on time. Good texture and smell. But, it leaves a dandruff like flakes in your hair after use.

I have been using this product for a few days now and am really liking the result. It works best on short to medium length hair, I would say, and offers medium-strength hold, so if you are looking for something that will give you rock-hard hair that would withstand a gale, this isn't it. It gives definition to my hair and keeps it in place without setting it firm. What I particularly like about it is the shine. Often with products like this, you get something that's like an oily, greasy pomade. This isn't anywhere near as oily as a pomade, it gives sheen rather than shine, so it looks like your hair is healthy and fresh, rather than looking like a mirror.You only need a very small amount of the product to achieve the sheen and the hold. Once you work it with your fingers, you get quite a fibrous paste that needs very little spreading through the hair. I would definitely recommend only using it on completely dry hair; if the hair is a little damp I found the product clumped a little. So use a hairdryer or have patience until the hair is completely dry.

As an odd chap I'm fairly anti-style, anti-fashion, or more accurately simply don't care for such things. However, I like having my hair long but it's currently at an in between length which makes it not the easiest to manage. A quick straighten, necessary for my muff, leaves my hair hanging whichever way the wind blows but if I want to set it a certain way or flick it up, over, or around, I find this previously unknown brand more than up to the task. Once applied it doesn't harden the hair or leave it feeling sticky, though you can still feel something there. It doesn't stink like some products do, and you can continue to tussle and mess with hair once you've added some.

I'm not generally a big fan of hair putties because they tend to be revoltingly tacky and you have to wash your hair every day to get rid of them, but this one actually is quite nice.The main ingredient, after water and alcohol, is lanolin and then petroleum jelly and mineral oil. It also contains some other natural waxes and oils such as carnauba wax and castor oil.This means that it's sort of a moisturiser for your hair and so it doesn't leave it and pleasantly gunky. I would agree with the description that it is 'medium' hold and it does impart a shine. It is quite pricey but lanolin isn't especially cheap and it's not full of cheap, gluey chemicals like some of the big pharma products.The smell could be better – it's a bit perfumy for my taste but it's not offensive.

This is a rather good hair putty that is effective if a little expensive. It is supplied in a stylish grey, screw top, compact plastic tub and is not greasy to touch with a pleasant smell that is not too strong.You only require a little on your fingertips and massage it through your hair to style it. It is strong enough to keep your hair in place during the day but without if feeling stiff or looking "wet". It provides a natural look and is not visible and worked well with my medium length hair adding body and hold.The tub looks like it will last a long time as you only require a very small amount for each application. It is one of the more expensive putty and clay products on Amazon but one that does work well so may be worth the premium.

There's a part of me that really likes this product; it smells nice, is easy to apply, and doesn't leave my hair feeling like it's covered in glue. However, the hold just doesn't cut it, and if truth be told, I'd probably want to reapply this half way through the day to ensure my hair doesn't go crazy on me.I think if you don't have very thick hair, then this would work - I don't have a style that is particularly product intensive, so with thinner hair you should be just fine.Overall, I won't be getting this again. I will be trying the firmer hold version though, which I'm hopeful will take the good from this and stick it harder.

I normally use American Crew (green) and this isn’t a bad substitute as I had run out of the former. The smell is good and it’s very much a medium hold. I apply to damp/almost dry hair. As usual, apply a small amount to hands and definitely rub well into hands first before applying – I would not apply directly to hair.At £10 it’s pushing the price point of the existing premium products but from a brand I’m not familiar with. It’s perfectly useable and I’ll keep using until it’s run out, but I’ll probably stick to American Crew.
