Looks like an exact replacement
I charged one and put it into use as soon as I received them. As far as comparing them to the original Canon battery I don't see how a comparison can be made. My camera is a 60d and has had the firmware updated several times. As such, trying to compare the new batteries with the Canon ones when they were new is like trying to compare batteries used in two completely different cameras. Sensor cleaning times have changed. Long exposure noise reduction has changed. Live view time out, the list goes on and on. The only fair comparisons I can make about duration is comparative practicality. Battery life today with the new battery seems just as practical as it was a decade ago with the Canon battery.As for charging, the original Canon charger worked just fine. The camera acknowledges the battery and predicts remaining life as well as the Canon battery. These batteries also come with covers.... a nice feature to keep you out of trouble from airport security. I attached an image of the old with the new. The Canon battery looks to have a manufacture date. That is the only thing I can find that I wish the new batteries had.

Truly, a great purchase
This is truly been the best purchase works properly It really does come in handy when you’re needing an extra battery during a photo shoot. I would recommend purchasing these batteries they last and they come in handy.

Can be an issue
Canon digital skra are sensitive to batteries .two non csnon batteries in the battery grip will not always work. Some brands do. The screen asks if they are labeled Canon and will shut down. I have to pair one of these with a battery that works and I can use the csmera.otherwise it's psy about $80 apiece for Canon batteries..I currently have one of these and another in the grip and they work. Since Cznon has gone mirrorless with the DSLR cameras I likely will have to buy batteries like these .

Excellent use life.
Good batteries with excellent life.The only disadvantage is my Canon brand charger won’t charge them. I need to use an aftermarket charger.
