A good product
Bought three (3) of these bad-boys to scare a flock of geese off our backyard. Actually worked for a while until they realized the dogs weren’t a threat. That said, other 4 legged critters like DEER and FOX keep their distance!Construction is excellent. Mounts on a spring base which has really held up well in very windy locations!!!Can flaps and gyrate wildly without visible damage. That said, the WOODEN STAKE can snap easily and all have been replaced with aluminum (Home Depot). These will last years if stored properly over winter. Our same-sized black dogs have grown fond to them🤣🤣😎..

Worthless.
Followed all the instructions for use, and quite quickly the geese in my yard made friends with their new neighbor, and are frequently seen hanging around in close proximity to the thing they’re supposed to be afraid of (see photo). Complete waste of money, and our neighbors are laughing at us. Don’t buy this hoax.

Make sure to move it
It works if you remember to move it often!

It works
Installed the dog as directed. The geese now swim by and look at the dog but have not entered my yard. Occasionally I step out so the geese can see me and that really discourages them. But the dog, moving in the breeze, is the major deterent. Great product.

Does not deter geese or swans
The first day it was up the geese bumped into it, wife said swans were in the yard all day too. Maybe it needs to be 50' or more away from the lakeside?

No more geese
This simple decoy has kept all the geese out of our yard and away from the bird feeder areas. I saw these on some soccer fields around us so I tried it, as long as you keep the stake up a little above the grass to allow it to spin with the wind, it works great.

Doesn’t work
After placing the product on my lawn . The geese were right around the decoy following morning . It was installed over a week ago not effective . I am returning it.

No geese this year... took "Spinner" in for the winter
The media could not be loaded. Couldn't be much easier to install... because of rocky soil, I had to start the hole in the ground with a piece of rebar that we had. Did not even need to move him around as often as suggested in the instructions (once daily!) Moved him maybe four times over the spring / summer... did not think it necessary, since we only saw geese on our pond maybe twice. Since geese appear to be gone for the season, we've taken him inside until next spring. A short video of our goose guard dog "Spinner" in a strong rain.
