My last Tug was 10 years old and worked perfectly until it broke. I attach it to my fanny pack belt, which carries poop bags, treats, etc., therefore I am hands-free. If you hold it with your hand and then drop it, it can frighten your dog.

This is a pretty great leash. Especially for my almost 80lb dog that likes to pull. We’ve been working on her walking next to me during our walks using a gentle leader since last year. Ive been trying to ween her off the gentle leader so I started using this leash without the lead and she’s been pretty good for the most part. When she starts walking ahead of me, I put the lock on and she’s right back by my side. It’s also great because she loves to sniff and explore so the leash is long enough to go and let her do her thing. I can stand on the side walk and she’s off in the grass loving her “freedom.” My only issue, I’m not sure how strong the leash is. I’m terrified that if she sees a cat (we have strays in the area) that she will take off running and the leash will snap. It could be strong enough but it’s pretty thin so it kind of worries me. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen because I’m enjoying our walks with the new leash.

Tiene buen tamaño, es duradera, aún la tenemos y la compramos antes de 2022, lo único es que puede cortarte si se llega a quitar el seguro o el perro templa. Hay que tener cuidado pero de resto fue una excelente compra. La calidad 10/10

Moved to an area where our dog needs to be on a leash. We have a golden retriever that has never walked on a leash, the easy retracting and letting of this leash, as he walks allows him the space to enjoy the walk without a tangled mess. The adjustment has been much easier then I anticipated.

It was as described. It's easy to use. All the functions in one function. It enclosed a part for dogs inclined to chew the lead. That was very nice as one of my pups does. Nice thick cord. I will order more soon.

And I’m pretty picky. No issues so far, had it for over a month. And it comes with an extender so when my puppy tries to chew it, it doesn’t destroy or break the actual leash. Just wish the was something on it that you could attach a poop bag dispenser to. So far so good!
