DUDE, okay... BUT in all seriousness
“In conclusion... I’m keeping them, but these are my fancy indoor lights, like those China plates your grandma holds in proud display in a china cabinet that only get brought out to be used but once a year.“***Conclusion pasted at the top of my review in case other customers don’t read the following***Picture proof above for quality in dark and lighted environments.Pros:These are some SERIOUS lights. Super dense and bright lighting with unbelievable vibrancy. PLUS these are REAL orange and REAL purple colors/shades consistent with expectation for “true” Halloween colors that you’ve looked high and low for. You seriously can’t compare these alongside many other “Purple” or “Orange” Halloween lights because won’t get shades and brightness like this with non-led lights or the mini flat circle led bulbs.Cons:Don’t get me wrong, these are AWESOME lights with GREAT quality... but having said that, if you’re on a budget or need a significant distance for lights, they’re pretty pricey. These lights are more of an investment than a “just because” purchase. In the seller/product’s defense, I didn’t pay really close attention to the lighted length when I purchased them since most icicle lights are pretty standard. I bought them to hang where I would normally hang icicle lights down the hallway of our home for Christmas since I finally found icicle leds in purple/orange for Halloween. That being said, I was pretty disappointed when I hung them up in the permanent wall clips I keep up for the Christmas strand, and it was about 2/3rds the length of my normal lights. I rechecked the listing for lighted length and other listings for other brands we own and realized my mistake so I didn’t factor that into my rating for product quality. For comparison/value most icicle light strands are longer (and cost less) but have the same LED light count. For an example *using another well known name brand* Phillips LED icicle lights are $15 for 9.5 (lighted) feet at regular price at Target. For a couple extra bucks if you’re interested you can opt for multi mode/function options with the Phillips brand, but these Halloween orange and purple ones don’t offer similar functions so I didn’t use the more expensive/extra mode options in my price point comparison below. The vanilla/plain ones without modes are still a 70 led count, making them a comparable model as far as light number and functional capability, but they have longer coverage and are at least half the price with ratings to back the product. They have a surplus of 4/5 star ratings you can sift through from any retailer if you don’t believe my personal testament to those being quality lights and they’re usually my personal go to and favourite because I don’t mind paying a bit more for better quality. Phillips just doesn’t make orange and purple, so... that’s why I found myself here as you probably did. Having said that, if holiday/color wasn’t an object, if I bought the Phillips lights at regular price (which I would never do, I wait for coupons or a sale) for $315 I could have 199.5 feet of Phillips led lights... or I could buy these for $839.72 and have 196 feet for more than 2.5X the price.#investment #ouch #pinchingmypenniesOverall, I bought only one set of these on a whim to try since I wanted icicle Halloween orange/purple combination lights. However, I DID NOT expect the quality to be there, and ultimately I expected to return these when they didn’t hold up to hype like I seem to do with most orange/purple lights. BUT THE QUALITY IS THERE. These are amazing lights, I already bought them, and I’m not sending them back (now I’m emotionally attached and they delivered as advertised so I have no reason to want to return them). I don’t totally regret this purchase, I just regret that my current salary doesn’t support an economical ability to line every surface of my home with them. If I had the budget to blow $500+ on these for indoor/outdoor lights to go down my hallway, around the house, porch, and it’s railings... I wouldn’t hesitate, and I absolutely would. However, at the current price point, I probably won’t be buying more of these for some time.In conclusion... I’m keeping them, but these are my fancy indoor lights, like those China plates your grandma holds in proud display in a china cabinet that only get brought out to be used but once a year.

Premium Lights for a Premium Price
Wintergreen lighting does not mess around with their stands. They know what they have and they extract the full price for it, and what they have is the highest quality string lighting on the market. What makes it the best? Build quality. Attention to details. Brightness. Color palette selection. Durability. And a warranty to back it up.These are not stands for penny pinchers or people messing around. These are the best looking, most carefully produced, longest lasting and highest priced LED outdoor lights you will find. If you want to make a statement this Halloween, you've found your lights.I've slowly been replacing all my lesser brands of incandescent and LED lights with Wintergreen strings over the last few years and the difference is, if you'll forgive the pun, night and day. My home has never looked so authentically Halloween in deep yet bright orange and purple hues. And unlike every other string, in 3 years I've yet to lose a single bulb or fuse. Never had to invoke that market leading manufacturer warranty.I'll keep replacing what I have until Wintergreen strings are all that's left. A pricey proposition, but worth it for my home.

So Cute!
I bought a strand of these lights for our mantel for the month of October. They were perfect! Pretty and bright and perfect for Halloween! I LOVE Halloween, so I had a hard time taking them down after because I loved them so much (they may or may not have stayed up a couple weeks longer ;) )

Bit shorter than I wanted but BRIGHT!
Would have liked these to be about a foot and a half longer at least. Elsewise they worked for what I wanted to do on my apartment balcony. I will say though, they are brighter than I expected from the get go of turning them on for LED lights. Quality seems ok as well, but time will tell how they hold up, though only being outside once a year for a month they should in theory handle it just fine.Edit: I came back to purchase another string this year to fix the problem of being short. Wow. The price jumped from what I bought them at, $20 last year, to $28?! I'm sorry but as nice as they are I can not recommend the icicle lights at this price point.

The brightness of the lights!!
I absolutely love my Halloween lights. They are bright and beautiful. I wish they did have a remote but I can use a switch. They were worth every penny!!

Only good for very small places
$22 for the tiniest TINIEST amount of lights. This would only be good for like a small mantle, definitely not for walls or even outside.
