I have been trying to assemble this fan for hours now. It is literally a nightmare to attach the front grill to the back one. Any suggestions?

QUICK SOLUTION USING HAIR DRYER TO EXPAND WHITE PLASTIC RIM - Worked in 1 minute ! OK, I had the same trouble everyone is posting here. After 2 minutes of fiddling with the round white plastic grille fastener I was successful with the following solution using a hair dryer to expand and soften the round plastic rim. 1) Align the metal grille front and back as best as possible. 2) Usually 50% to 75% of the round plastic fastening rim will align in the proper place with little effort. It is the last 25% of the rim that is misaligned and is difficult to slide over the metal rim of the grille. 3) Therefore, expand and soften the 25% of the round white plastic fastening rim with a hair dryer as follows. -Turn hair dryer on high heat. - Place hair dryer 1 inch away from the section of the round plastic fastener rim that won't slide over the grille. -Slowly go back and forth along that section of the round plastic fastener that won't fit over the metal grille edge. Move the hair dryer back and forth over that section for 45 seconds to 1 minute. This expands the plastic slightly and softens it. -THEN, Quickly slide the warmed and slightly expanded white plastic fastener over the edge of the grille. BINGO ! For me it snapped into place INSTANTLY. Previously I was as stuck as everyone else here. Good luck !

How do you tilt the fan up and down? Do not see adjustment knob.
