Assume only ingredient is Mg Citrate, 700 mg of Mg Citrate per scoop. BUT, there are ONLY 365 mg of Mg in that 700 mg of Mg Citrate. Mg is a single element, Mg Citrate is an organic compound. Formula for Mg Citrate is C6H6MgO7.

Q: If you lose the scoop, how much potassium is in one teaspoon?

The scoop is about 1/8 tsp. I use a 1/2 tsp for my electrolyte drink for bicycling. 4 x 365mg dose Otherwise 1/4 tsp added to coffee in the morning. 2 x 365mg dose

Q: Is this a powder (like flour) or grains (like sand or table salt)?

It's just like table salt. We mix regular salt and this in our salt shaker.

Q: Why do you need to label salt "non-gmo"? Are there gmo salt?

There is no such thing as gmo salt. Salt is a mineral (NaCl) and has no genetic material. However, if you add an additive, such as an anti-caking ingredient made from corn (which has been genetically modified), then the manufacturer may label the salt as gmo. Pure salt with no additive labeled as gmo salt is an oxymoron. Iodized salt would never be labeled as gmo. Minerals do not contain genetic material
