If your year old dachshund is having weight issues, this would be a great option

Q: Calories? Where are the calories noted???

Calorie info on back lower left corner it says “this diet contains 3519 kilocalories of metabolizable energy (ME) per kilogram or 320 kilograms ME per cup on an as fed basis (calculated )” no idea what this means but hopefully it helps you.

Q: Is there softer kibble as well as hard ?

I'm not aware of anything softer. My dog loves it but had to get used to it. You can always use a bone broth topper like Stella & Chewy's. It's really good for dog's health and it also softens the food. I heat just a 1/4 cup in microwave for 20 secs. and pour it on her food. She loves it. I don't use it every day though. You can also use water to soften it up. Hope this helps.
