Review for: JoySpring Appetite Booster for KidsI ordered this for my 3 year old, she will have weeks where she hardly eats a thing. We are on week 2 of her taking this and she's finally eating meals. Yes, it took a bit for it to work but I'm glad there's been some change. She doesn't mind the flavor at all either - it's like strawberry/raspberry. She hasn't complained about any tummy issues, which is awesome.JoySpring is a brand we have really come to like, we have used a few of their items now.

My 9yr old is medication that has a side-effect of suppressing his appetite. These drops seemed like a perfect solution.I tried having him take a drop on his tongue, and he said they were "nasty". In the couple of doses we tried that way, we haven't noted a meaningful change in his appetite after taking them, and as they're really hard to get him to take, things have effectively stopped there.Will try and sneak them into a drink or something to dilute the taste, and see how that works out.

My three year old has typically been a good eater with spurts of showing pickiness and favoritism without willingness to really eat a full meal. I wasn't sure whether something was needed but also figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. The small dose makes it easy for my toddler to take and he seems to enjoy the flavor. I can't say that it was an immediate boost in hunger but overall for the past month of him using this he does seem to be on the up and up with amount of food he is eating and overall willingness to eat what is offered.

This is a bit of a hit or miss product. As an appetite booster this did not really do anything for me. My diet is terrible but consistent and I had no more food cravings than without using the drops. It kind of leaves a slimy almost avocado taste behind in plain water. The main reason I got these drops was for the lysine supplement. This is an easier to swallow alternative than the giant horse pills most pharmacy's carry, but this is significantly more expensive than what you could get at the drug store.

The dropper makes it really easy to measure out the right amount and it doesn’t have that strong vitamin smell that tends to make kids run in the opposite direction. The taste is mild enough that I can give it to my son straight or mix it into juice without him noticing which is a huge win because he’s got a radar for anything that tastes remotely healthy. The consistency is smooth and not too thick so it doesn’t leave that weird coating in the mouth that some liquid supplements tend to have. What’s nice is that it doesn’t upset his stomach which is something I always worry about when trying new supplements. The bottle is small enough to store easily and the dropper fits securely so I don’t have to worry about leaks if I toss it in a bag. I like that it’s not overly sweet but still pleasant enough that he doesn’t fight me when it’s time to take it. It’s funny how once I find something that works, it just becomes part of the routine without even realizing it. Now he just opens his mouth when he sees the dropper which honestly feels like a little parenting victory every time.

I like that this is a blend of vitmains, minerals and herbs. I like that it is made in the USA and is third party tested. That gives me confidence in the company and the quyality of the product.

This is a good and natural supplement for appetite booster. Don't expect overnight amazing change. But a slight positive change seems to be the way it works. Definitely worth a try for sure, especially if you are scared to try traditional hard drugs that most doctors would recommend. Slight taste but can be mixed in with foods not too hard.
