I bought this to step up my game from the old budget unit I got a while back and boy am I happy! It's about 3x the price of my cheapo RO/DI system, but it's well worth it for the quality. Plus, this company really knows their stuff when it comes to aquatics, so you know you're getting a top notch product.So far it's working out well for my new saltwater setup though, and I have zero issues with it. Overall if you have to do water changes frequently like I do, this thing is a blessing. I definitely cannot recommend this enough for people in the aquatics hobby. Even if you are a beginner or expert, you'll be happy either way, and it's easy to set up as well.

This system is large, as you can see. We tested it with a buckets for supply, and waste. One issue with reverse osmosis systems is the waste water, and it does waste a lot. This is not an undersink system, but meant to be used with fish tanks and that type of water prep. It is a substantial system; the water tested zero to 5-6 with our TDS meter. So the filters work as they should.

If you are in the aquarium hobby and own a saltwater tank then you understand the importance of owning an osmosis system. BRS stands behind all of their products and this is no exception. Took my husband about 45 minutes to set this up. Took longer because we changed the location of the install. Comes with everything you will need. Obviously you will need to buy the refill filters when the time comes. My other osmosis unit filters last about 1-1.5 years. We own 14 fish tanks. So you know, when a system is making osmosis water you will end up with the waste water. My husband built this add on to capture that for my house plants and other things!Doesn’t take forever to make osmosis water. I have the connection with an add on allowing me to fill my 50 gallon trash can so I can make my saltwater for my 100 gallon saltwater tank!

If tanks are your hobby, you know this is essential! Setup was super easy, and it comes with everything you need to get going. Just remember, you'll have to swap out the filters eventually, but so far, it works exactly as expected. No complaints here!
