My hobby is repairing computers and building computers and I just love ifixit toolkits.

As a side hustle, I', fixing up broken, used iPhones and selling them online for a bit of extra cash. Having the right tools for the job is absolutely essential, and this toolkit has been a lifesaver.It's incredibly compact and portable. Everything is neatly organised in a fabric roll, so I can easily take it with me wherever I go. I was initially a bit worried that a smaller, portable set might not have all the bits and pieces I'd need, but this one has been great. It's got a fantastic driver with loads of different steel bits. It has all sorts for different screw types, even those funny little pentalobe ones that Apple uses.It's not just the driver, though. This set also includes a bunch of other really useful tools. There are plastic opening tools that don't scratch the phones, handy little picks, and even tweezers. There's also a suction handle, which makes is a lot easier for prying the screen safely.Honestly, it has everything I've needed so far to get those iPhones apart, fix them, and put them back together. It makes this a very simple and easy job and has quickly turned it into a bit of a money maker for me. I'd recommend this toolkit to anyone who's thinking of doing something similar.

Fabulously useful kit. Everything you need to take apart most modern electrical devices, including many of the rarer screwdriver ends that aren’t easily available in DIY sets. I used it to take apart my computer and reapply the thermal paste and, even with my very rudimentary understanding of electronics I managed to to do it without any problems.The kit includes:32 different screwdriver bitsA screwdriver handle2 double ended plastic levers for opening devices2 metal tweezers2 anti-static carbon fibre tools for poking around in electronic equipmentA flexible knife for squeezing between tight gapsA suction cub for pulling off phone screens6 thin triangular plastic tools for wedging into gapsA case for the screwdriver bits, including a lid with a tray for holding any screws you’ve removedA tool roll (measuring approx. 160mm x 110mm x 50mm) which holds everything and has 2 more unused slots for more items.Everything in it has a use. Nothing is needlessly included. The screwdriver handle is particularly well designed, so that it’s easy to apply pressure and rotate it at the same time. The blue plastic triangles are really useful when you’re trying to pry open stubborn electrical casings. The level of thought that has gone into each item is really impressive and I wholeheartedly recommend this set to anyone wanting a look inside their electrical equipment. A great product from a company with an excellent ethos and a passionate crusade to improve the world by repairing it, one item at a time.

I regularly watch this awesome YouTube electronics repair channel called JoeyDoesTech and one of the tool kits he has for getting into devices is an iFixit kit.Based on that alone, I knew iFixit would be a good brand but I never knew quite how good…The whole kit really is a piece of craftsmanship and extremely well designed.The kit has a multitude of tools to help you prize open devices as well as a screwdriver set with 32 bits all geared towards opening electronics devices.The screwdriver handle is a comfortable size and due to the end being magnetic it makes it quite an enjoyable experience changing out the bits… it’s just so fast and efficient to do.All of the bits and tools in the set feel solid and very good quality.All of the bits are contained in a hard cased plastic box with a magnetic lid.The whole box has a magnetic plate on the bottom and it securely sticks to the inside of the fabric tool kit case.I am very impressed with the design of this kit… it feels like a lot of effort has been made on its design.I am genuinely blown away by how good this is and it is VERY worthy of a 5 star rating.
