Our old Dyson stick vacuum that we donated to the charity failed. We had replaced the battery a few years back and thought I would try another. Could always send back if iit didn’t work. This does get used on a daily basis so tends to point at the battery. it’s an easy job with only 3 screws holding the battery in and an easy and quick job. I did fully clean the body and all the filters with a compressed air line and with the new battery has improved the suction greatly. What did surprise me was that this one was cheaper than a lower capacity battery. Excellent buy

My daughter has a V8 that she had stopped using, because it needed charging so often. With this, it is almost back to new.These are a bit fiddly to install, and it does not come with screws, so you need to use the ones you already have. Also, make sure the bit that goes inside is in place properly. There are no instructions, and just knowing where the screws go might not be enough. I suggest you look at some videos, also about how to change the trigger, because it connects to the battery, if everything is positioned correctly.Capacity might well be exaggerated, but it's at least as good as the original, I've been told.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. Battery works well, fit fine and does the job. Quality is good too. Fraction of the price of the original.

This replacement battery fits perfectly and offers great capacity with long battery life. While I can't recall how long the original battery lasted when my vacuum was new, this one works really well. It may be a bit pricey, but at a third of the cost of the original, it's excellent value for money.

This wasn’t the easiest to fit, was a little bit fiddly but well worth it, it has more than doubled its life, still charges the same and provides the same function as the original but just lasts so much longer.

At first glance this seems a fine replacement for your Dyson. It certainly works as expected and fits perfectly into the charging dock.I'm not sure how the extra battery capacity delivers in terms of battery life but I guess it's a bonus if that's important to you. Personally I do question whether the Dyson motor was designed to run continuously for longer periods of time than the original battery supported so I'm not sure this extra capacity adds a lot.This battery came with no fitting instructions, so that was disappointing. I did find youtube videos to help. However, it was very easy to fit the new battery and only took about 5 mins. Note, you will need to remove several screws to release the original battery. It comes with a tiny screwdriver which was too small to use as it didn't grip the screw heads correctly and started to damage them, so I used my own which was better quality. Perhaps my screws were just a little too tight.The product was marked with the European CE mark but I couldn't see any manufacturer branding, so I'm not entirely confident in using it. Considering the Dyson is permanently plugged into the mains and the battery is charging a lot when in the dock, the safety of the battery is an important consideration for me.Overall this seems a well made, functional product, let down by the lack of branding, fitting instructions and proof of quality, which may be important considerations for some.

My V8 battery was slowly losing capacity and I was struggling to get a single room vacuumed. This is good capacity replacement battery that fits perfectly and seems to have a higher capacity than the original. Charges in the wall charger with no issues and costs far less than the official replacement.
