TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!!! We have several mini dachsunds and they are habitual barkers/yappers!!! We firmly tell them NO BARK, with no results! The one barks then the others chime in! Any movement on the other side of our fence and they immediately bark and don't stop till I bring them inside. Read the reviews on this item and so many had good luck, I decided to give it a try. There are 3 modes, I chose the middle one. When they barked, I said NO BARK and tapped the button and released. Immediately they stopped barking!!! We went through this drill, again and again over the next few days, everytime they barked, I firmly said NO BARK and tapped the middle button. Three days is all it took! Now, when they bark and I say, NO BARK, they stop immediately!!!!!!! This is so efficient! It really works!!! It's charged with a USB cord I plugged into my laptop when we first got it from Amazon. 3 days so far and still holding the initial charge! Buy it! You will be so happy you did!

This device is amazing. It’s less expensive and more convenient than a bark collar. The sound range is impressive. We have about 1.5 acres and our dogs hear the beeps just about anywhere on our property and come running/stop barking. Now we simply have to show them the device and they quickly follow commands. They definitely do not enjoy the beeping sounds and want to comply. It works on our cats too when they get on our counters. One of our dogs is much more sensitive to the sounds but both will comply. The more sensitive dog has stopped running away when our gate is open since we started using the device. This has been a huge blessing and relief as we were getting complaints from concerned neighbors. We have recommended the product to two other friends. It holds a charge for a very long time too. I wish we had bought this first instead of wasting our money on dog bark collars. We keep it on our kitchen counter so it’s always accessible.

This device worked immediately on my dog and would definitely recommend. I haven't even had to use the ultrasonic button option yet for her. She will bark a lot if someone comes up into the yard or at strange cars or animals, which was great that she was alerting me, except I needed her to hush when I acknowledged the alert and told her it was okay. I've tried just the beep sound as I say hush, and it immediately got her attention, and her barking has become a lot more controlled. I love that this device has 3 options of a just a beep sound or the ultrasonic sound or the ultrasonic sound along with a light. It also comes with training instructions, which I found quite helpful.

This dog bark deterrent device works so well. My dog responds immediately. I appreciate the safety features. There is no way to accidentally hit the buzzer. It is reasonably priced and is not flimsy like others. Decently a great purchase.

I have been using this product for a month and a half. It works wonders on my 3 large dogs who always excessively bark at the front door when they hear something. It’s got 3 different modes- a beep, ultra sonic sound and ultra sonic sound with flashing lights- which really helps get their attention. Distracts them long enough to be effective but has no shock that can hurt them. It’s great to have on hand if you have 1 dog or if all of your dogs go crazy barking and you need to control them.

I've only had this for a couple of weeks but wanted to weigh in since most of the reviews here are vague and so positive they sound like advertising copy. I have three dogs and the newest one, adopted 9 months ago from an international street life-injury situation, goes insane barking at my neighbor's dog. Both dogs lunge at the wood fence between us and bark wildly, one time even breaking the fence. The first time I used this, it was miraculous--both dogs froze and stopped barking. Since then, my other dogs and my neighbor's dog seem more affected by it than my new guy. THERE ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED INSTRUCTIONS with this device. First you'd have to be an ant wearing glasses to read the tiny pamphlet included with the thing. Also how do you know when it needs a re-charge? No indicator until you plug it into charger. That said, this does seem effective in general, but not sure my wild dog is getting the message. My sensitive dog goes into tremors and runs and hides if she's anywhere near it, so it must work. I'm just frustrated with wondering if it's charged properly (must be, if the others react) and what I can do to make it affect the barker in my group.
